I have been using this brand since I got my first single needle machine 5 years ago. Then for 3 years with my 12 needle BAI machine. I do get some thread breaks but that is often because of tension or bobbin issues. I also don't run my machine faster than 800 as I do not like the sound of it running at its max speed. I usually don't write reviews even if I like something. I just had to write one about this thread because I Love It. I had previously been using Robison Anton embroidery thread with my Husqvarna Diamond Embroiderer and Sewing machine. I was getting a lot of broken threads and the embroidery just didn't look nice. Now there maybe other reasons for this but this Brothread brand is giving me beautiful stitches and basically no problems at all. I will definitely be ordering again. Also the free gifts they give you is a real nice touch. The thread net and the foam cushions are very useful. You can't go wrong with this thread. The colors are rich and I just love it. I look forward to using these threads. I am going to try them on my longarm machine. They look like Glide thread and the colors are really nice. The quality looks good but proof is in the sewing which I haven't tried yet.

These Brothread brand spools of Embroidery Thread compare very favorable to the better established brands of embroidery thread. I have had fewer thread breakages, the colors are so far, very shiny and attractive to the eyesight, and the price for this spool size, 5000 meters/spool, was extremely good!!! Where do I start!? I have been waiting for a set this large of spools this large! And im so happy that New Brothread has come out with this! These are all colors I tend to use often in embroidery that I do. I have NEVER had an issue with the thread snapping or fraying while embroidering, even at full speed on my Husqvarna Viking Topaz 50. I've purchased a couple spools from my local sewing dealer and had issues with the thread breaking, tangling and fraying, and now i will never again buy thread from a sewing dealer after finding new brothread. I love that the colors DO NOT fade! I embroidery a lot of hand towels with designs well over 60,000 stitches. So they get washed often. Have never had anything fade Thats another thing about New Brothread, it holds up through washing and drying! ,since I do a ton of embroidery on hand towels they are items that get washed often and haven't had any fall apart!!! I would recommend this to everyone for embroidery and normal sewing as well because the thread is pretty and it is strong. There is no question this is the best thread I have used! Im hoping there are more shades to come in these large 5000 meter spools! I've used 2 colors in this design im working on currently and love how large these are !! ... show more

Works very well in my Janome M17 embroidery machine. Matches the Janome thread chart by number. Great quality. Have bought several boxes. Great colors. You also can get large spools of individual colors for those colors used often.

These threads unwind and clog up my brother 600. I was shorted threads and customer service was very little help- demanding photo after photo after photo and wanting me to ... i think... send photos of the cones I did not receive. they claim that the missing threads are on the way from china, eventually... if they ever show up I shall update this to 4 stars. value for the money is good. would be great if the thread were a consistent weight and of course... if they were all there. update: the missing cones did come. updated to 4 stars. ... show more
