I do professional machine embroidery so the quality of thread used is very important to produce a quality product. While Smithread is a bit on the expensive side, the quality makes it well worth the price. It's great to get the most used colors in a large pack and the storage container is great. Simthread is my go-to thread. This is a great way to stock up on some colors that I was out of in the blues and greens. The new improved spools now have a way to lock the thread end to prevent unravelling, as you can see in my second picture. (Old spool has a thread peel to hold the end.)
