This is very good thread. I've had fun playing with the fancy stitches on my machine. The thread covers well and really shines with these stitches. I tried to break it and was unable to. It worked well in my machine with absolutely no problems. It comes with 5 empty bobbins and two filled ones (white and black). Also a color chart and some stabilizer fabric. This is a very good buy and the price is amazing ($.57 per spool) and the color range will have you set up for whatever project you can imagine. As far as the container goes, I really like it. It does take a little fiddling to get each layer seated just right, but the snaps are holding tight and it is handy to be able to have all the thread easily accessible! Highly recommend.

Saw this on an Amazon deal, even though I have plenty of embroidery threads, this looked like it had some colors that I didn't and it came with a carrier tote, had to get it! I'm so delighted I ordered it since it's some of the best embroidery threads I've ever had! No tension issues, beautiful vibrant colors, great variety. For a quick test run I created a name tag to wear to my sewing club. It stiched out beautifully. The tote is light weight, there are 3 trays that snap together with a lid that has a handle. It also came with spool nets that are twice as long as the spools so I cut them in half for a perfect fit for all the 63 spools, no lose threads! A black and white threaded bobbin, 5 empty bobbins, a 20"x21" sheet of tear away stabilizer, a nice little color chart and some info of their products. I'm an even very happier stitcher now with this set!!!

Loved the convenience of the box to store the thread. Will keep them dust free. My box arrived well packaged/padded to protect the corners of the plastic case. I did have to realign the thread compartment dividers as there were bonus items (prethreaded bobbins, empty bobbins, nets and tear away stabilizer) added to my order. It took about 10 minutes to set up and align the tab so it was not an inconvenience. The sections snap very sturdily to each other and the handle is attached securely so it will be easy to add sections and carry the box if needed. I have used colored Simthread bobbins on other embroidery projects so I know they perform extremely and actually can see myself matching my bobbin thread to my project top thread to ensure the perfect match. I am very pleased with the color selection and will be using the threads this weekend for sure.

The good: the selection of colors is great, the thread is silky looking, so far I have not experienced the thread quality issues that some other reviewers have mentioned. The color numbers match the Brother machine references. The bad: the box is really a gimmick. It was partly why I picked this set, to keep things organized. However, the plastic box is very poor in quality. It already came all bent and it never closes properly. The dividers slide off of their track and not all the threads fit in there, some came all jammed with others. I also did noticed that this thread is ever so slightly thinner than the simplicity pro that came with my machine. Also, these are "mini" cones or 500 yards, not the 1000 plus yards of the cones I am used to see. As I said, you get what you paid for.

I got my thread the other day and hadn’t had a chance to use it. I got the 63 spool box and it comes in a handy dandy carry case. I took a 2 day class where machines and thread was provided. The thread colors were limited. After wishing for more colors, the second day of class I brought the whole box! Lots of people commented on the great colors and we stitched all day with no breaks, snags or any other problem! .... I think I may have sold a few boxes! * Note: the spoils are smaller, so I wouldn’t recommend the little kits for a huge project, like a quilt, but great for all those little projects you want to do

I have a Janome 500E, and bought this because I didn't want to use up all the "good" Janome thread that came with my machine. This is the BEST thread, I have NO breakage (I did with the Janome thread) I love the little nets that come with to go over the spools. Protects the thread and allows me to *gasp* throw them in a bin for storage :) The plastic container that came with is nice for classes and taking it with you. GREAT value, GREAT buy, and GREAT thread. Do not HESITATE to buy this.

This is a nice set of 40 polyester thread colors for machine embroidery. They came in a useful 2-tiered plastic box. It is a good way to begin machine embroidery without investing a lot of money. I team them with polyester pre-wound bobbins.

I got this as a birthday gift for a family member. I asked her opinion of the product and this is what she said. She’ll use this thread for both machine and hand embroidery. She likes the satiny shine to it. Hand embroidery thread is really expensive so this is her alternative. This was used one sold by Amazon and was a lot cheaper than new one from the actual brand store, so the box came in original packaging without the cardboard box. Unfortunately, the plastic organizer was broken on one side when I got it. I talked to customer service and they were really nice and very happy to help me find a resolution. I am very grateful to them.
