I installed myself. It comes with paper template, just read the instructions, follow template. Took me about 30 minutes, I went slow. Easy 12V wiring. Long cable, plenty for my 21' CC. I do have to provide power to Radar first, then start up my Simrad Go9 so that the Go9 can see the radar, then go from Standby to Transmit. I was seeing beyond 30nm, left Dana Point Harbor and was seeing Catalina island, as well as other boats 100 yards from me. Very happy with the purchase, I like the safety of having it when we leave at 4 AM. Also, weather and bird mode are good too. ... show more
