I was looking for some counter height chairs or stools for a high top dining table, and these seemed to be a great option. Indeed they were! Perfect height and so easy to assemble. Just 4 screws and you’re done! They are pretty substantial in their construction too, despite their smaller size. I expect they will hold up. What’s more, they add true white. That’s key, because it means touching them up in the future if they scratch (which is inevitable with kids and dogs) will be easy! I also think they are pretty comfortable for metal stools. These chairs are actually more sturdy than I anticipated, and really look great. There were no scratches or oddities when delivered, and are still holding up great. Very easy assembly. I like that it has foot bars near the floor to prop up your feet while you’re sitting. Compared to some similar style chairs I looked at, I am really glad I got these ones with back support. It’s fairly small, but really helps for not slipping or slouching. If you have wood or laminate floors, it’s food to know the feet of these chairs have rubber bottoms, which help it not damage the floors, and also keep them from sliding. Assembly was ok, except for a couple screws dented so much that I stripped it trying to get the backrest on. These chairs are lightweight and fine for a quick meal at my kitchen island. My butt hurts after sitting on my new chairs after more than an hour while working! I give my guests a cushion if we’re “making memories” around the table, because these get uncomfortable after 20 mins or so. ... show more

I’m extremely disappointed with this purchase. This is the third set of chairs I’ve ordered, and the first two arrived in perfect conditio. While the outer package was sealed, the chairs inside were scratched, and dirty, clearly indicating they had been returned by someone else. To make matters worse, the package is very heavy and inconvenient to return via UPS due to my work schedule.
