The product is nice and looks great, however, the product arrived damaged. The door was detached from the main frame and both hinges had been forcefully broken off and bent. I reached out to Simpli Home and they provided two options: 1) Find and install replacement hinges and they would reimburse, or 2) Return to Amazon and have another unit shipped to me. Since items like this a re large, costly for all parts to deliver, and frankly a pain to box/unbox, I chose option (1). Replacing the hinges required special inset hinges and drilling new holes in the thin mango wood resulting in certain structural strength loss. Initially, Simpli Home customer service was responsive but since submitting receipt for reimbursement, I haven't received a response. My next step will be to resolve this issue with Amazon. ... show more

I ordered this twice because I LOVE the wood and color and style... And it's actually a very sturdy piece of furniture but BOTH times it had a single broken door... The hinges are screwed on too tightly and it's cracking the wood door. I read the other reviews who said the same thing but I so badly wanted to be one of the few who got one that wasn't broken... 2 weeks and charging $500 to my card twice I must give up hope. ... show more

We bought this to match the lift top coffee table (which we love). The first one arrived broken. The second one has a broken piece inside the left cabinet that we can live with, but the door hinges are rickety, which makes for cracks in the wood door itself (see pictures). If you’re not trying to complete the set, I’d get another manufacturer. That said, it looks nice, and we like the wood. So...meh. ... show more

Well I love Amazon. But I have to say this is one of the poorest excuses for quality that I’ve experienced with their products. It’s VG cheaply constructed with a bad finish... nothing lines up and it just doesn’t feel like good quality. Unfortunately it’s quite difficult to unpack from it shipping box and therefore almost impossible to return. The only upside is that from a slight distance it actually looks OK... ... show more

This product arrived broken. Edit: The piece comes pre built and the door arrived broken. We tried to get another door, but they could not supply one, so Amazon offered us a full refund for the piece, so I changed the review to 5 stars. Thanks amazon, great customer service!

STAY AWAY!! Product arrived damaged. Both cabinet doors were cracked and broken in half. I understand the appeal of shipping a pre-assembled product, but if there's not enough care taken in shipping and delivering it then what's the point?
