It came well-packed and mounting was easy with a little measuring and drilling. They also included a touch-up pen for any scratches or nicks. Cool light features and puts out a decent amount of heat. Simplifire simply needs to pack their fireplaces better. The boxes (2) per fireplace are very heavy and arrived ripped open with moderate crate damage, cardboard adrift, tape failed, corners crushed, etc. the unit was damaged mildly with bent sheet metal needing to be straightened. Otherwise, once installed, this is a functional and beautiful addition to our lives. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This fireplace has transformed the room! The materials are beautifully made: white wood, mirrored back, heavy crystals! I had ledger stone, electric outlet added and the fireplace installed by a contractor. He said it was not too difficult to install.

    • Expensive Disappointment
Size: 60-Inch
The product from a distance is pretty but parts and assemblies do not have proper fit. The side panels do not fit tight with the center unit and the bottom piece. You can see ugly gaps between the parts due to parts not made with tight manufacturing tolerances. The fireplace we received does not sit flush to the wall. The top sits flush to the wall but the bottom has a gap of more than 1 inch between the wall and itself due to the tight interference between the mounting hooks and the fireplace slots. It ruins the appearance of the fireplace from anyone sitting on the side sofas. We have been greatly disappointed with the purchase as in the process we have ruined our living room wall for its installation strip. The worst aspect is that the supplier should have simply sent us new installation strip and side panels to remedy the situation but it has been not responsive or helpful. I strongly suggest to stay away from this expensive product unless you can live with inferior quality. ... show more
