  • Cool bike!
Color: Black Size: 20"
Overall great bike, price, comfortable, fast, easy to assemble (the bike is shipped 95% put together). You assemble the handle bars and front tire. The flimsy plastic that covers the chain broke on the first use. Definitely recommend this cool bike!

  • Awesome quality bike for an amazing price! Love it!
Color: Black Size: 20"
The first bike I received appeared to be used, but I put it together hoping it would be fine because it wasn't in bad shape or anything. As soon as my son started riding it, I knew I had a dud. There was some sort of an issue on the inside part of the bike, where the pedals are joined to the bike...it sounded like gears were grinding really badly, everytime my son would pedal, as well it would skip randomly. I did everything I could to fix the bike so I wouldn't have to deal with shipping it back, but there was no saving it. I contacted Amazon about the issue and they immediately offered me a refund or exchange. Given the fact that I still needed a bike for my son, I decided I would try the exchange and give this bike one more chance seeing as how many positive reviews there were. Well I am certainly glad that I choose to do the exchange, because as soon as I got the replacement, you could just tell right away that it was a brand new unit. I had the bike assembled and had my son riding it within 20 minutes of opening the box. It's been about a month and a half now that we have had it, and knock on wood, there have been zero issues with it. My son absolutely loves it. It is super smooth to ride, and he can go much faster now than he ever could on his previous smaller bike. Everything looks and functions great. I still can't believe that we were able to find such a good quality bike for such a low price. The first bike we bought him was a Giant, because that's what my wife and I ride, but when it came time for him to upgrade to a bigger one, I decided seeing that he's only 6 why spend another $300 on a bike that is going to get abused and thrown around, like most boys that age do. That is why we chose to give this one a try before getting another Giant for him, and I will be completely honest with you, I don't see that much of a difference in quality between the two brands...do yourself a favor, if you have a little one that is ready for something bigger, and don't want to pay the premium for a name brand bike, try this out, you will love it. As long as you get a new unit and not a returned one, which is what I believed happened to me with the first one I received. Great bike for an even better price! ***UPDATE*** I now can see after having this bike for a few weeks what everyone was talking about when they mentioned that the tubes are very cheaply made and have holes in them. My son's tire kept losing air slowly for some reason in his front tire so I took it apart and checked it out and found a line of about 6 pin hole sized holes that seem to have been done at the factory because you seen an imprint of the machine I'm guessing they use to mold the tubes together. It was definitely done at the time of production because they are perfectly aligned and on the side instead of the top or bottom. I am not sure if the rubber they are using is extremely cheap, or if their machinery is faulty, my guess would be to go with the latter. So needless to say if you decide to get this bike, which the bike itself is not bad, be prepared to replace both tubes on the bike right from the start. It's not the end of the world for me because for $10 you can get two tubes this size on Amazon and given what I paid for the bike, it's still a good deal. It's just be prepared to deal with the hassle of swapping them out. ... show more

  • Amazing Price and Awesome value
Color: Black Size: 20"
We recently bought 2 of these bikes for our girls. We read many reviews and were a little Leary about purchasing such a cheap bike. We were also worried about some of the reviews saying that the bikes came with missing parts, broken or damaged parts and some people said they were difficult to put together. Well we had our bikes shipped all the way to Haiti with absolutely no damage, the boxes they were packed in were in perfect condition. The bikes took all of 15 minutes to assemble, only needed a crescent wrench, nothing more. The girls went crazy on Christmas morning when we rolled the bikes out. The bikes have close to a 1000 miles already, lol as we have 8 girls trading off non stop. So yes for $59 this is a 5 STAR purchase all the way. This is a tough bike ... show more

  • Dangerous for your child, defective parts, bewarw
Color: Black Size: 20"
This bike is a little over a year old, purchased for our son for Christmas. Recently he was riding on our street, still learning to ride ( his first bike), when the crank hub mechanism locked up so he could not pedal. We were on a slight downhill, and with the cranks stuck he panicked and wobbled and crashed, badly hurting his wrists and chin. Thank goodness he was wearing a helmet as there was a hole in his helmet that would have been his head. I have been an avid bike rider my whole life, I know it was not the chain slipping off or negligence on our part, it is an issue with the mechanism inside the crank casing where the pedal breaks are housed causing the pedals to lock in place unexpectedly. This happened once before on flat ground and at slower speed, but resolved itself so we weren't too concerned. We are now a few weeks outside of the 1 yr. product support window so all I can do is write this review and warn others of this dangerous defect. Meanwhile my son is afraid to try riding the bike again, and we will have no choice but to try to find another (this time with handle breaks). I dont know what to do with this otherwise almost new bike. I'm just glad his crash wasn't even worse. Buyer beware. ... show more
