It said on the Amazon site that there would be a secondary filter. There was none. I also went to Simplicity's site and they had no filters for the Flash hand held vacuum. The only filter I have is dirty and I needed to wash it. It does wash very well but takes a while to dry. Meanwhile I can't use it because of the lack of the second filter. I was having a hard time finding a small, hand-held vacuum with a hose. I was absolutely thrilled with this! It's just what I need, and the suction is absolutely great. It's a small light vacuum, so it's great for small clean up jobs. Emptying it is easy, just unlatch the front. And unlike my previous vacuum, the litter doesn't immediately spill everywhere. The filter must first be lifted out, and it can then be dumped. Comes apart and goes back together easily. Includes a number of attachments. Not cordless, but I'd rather have the power. The vacuum is small and light weight. Helpful when trying to reach into tight places. rating it 4 stars because the hose disconnected a few times mostly because my arm could extend further than it did, so I had to remember to keep moving up the vacuum as I moved along with the hose. It would be better if the hose locked into place and was about a foot longer. Great for vacuuming lamp shades, window sills, and of course upholstery, car interiors. Very pleased. ... show more

    • Powerful little vacuum
I love this quite powerful little vacuum and its handy attachments. The vac is small and lightweight and very easy to use. I have had great success using it on shaggy throw rugs, sofas, and lampshades. I think it would also work well as a car vac.

    • AMAZING, better suction than my new stick vacuum
This thing is amazing. Little on the heavier side but not worth not buying. Sucked the cat hair off the back of the couch with ease. Better suction than my upright. Lots of tools, that actually work. Wish there was a storage bag for them but I can remedy that.
