This is a spectacular jacket. And oddly thebonly circle skirted trench I could find on Amazon. Its a twill, mid weight like a trench with classic styling and a full skirt. And no belt, which I love. Unfortunately it is too small. I am a size 16 but carry my weight in my belly and the xl was skin tight. Oh how I wish there was a xxl because its that cute. ... show more

Nice quality women's trench coat which can be worn year round - one of the things that make this coat versatile and a great value for your money. Refer to the sizing chart for sizing, but I found it fit true to size. I generally wear a medium and it fit perfectly. The jacket was warm on brisk fall days and moderate winter weather. To help with warmth, I would adjust my underlayer such as a sweater or lightweight shirt. Another great benefit about this jacket is that it is a traditional look and you can dress it up or down. Wear with jeans, dresses or skirts. Care tag says machine wash - I would recommend on gentle cycle and then line dry. Comes in multiple color options but the best part is the price. This coat is very nice, surprisingly well made! The fabric is typical trench coat sort of material. It feels like it may be a bit water-repellant, but soft and smooth to the touch, like twill. It is machine washable and comes with an extra button in case of repairs. It is fully lined. I ordered the Red, which is a beautiful cranberry color with tortoise shell buttons. This jacket does run a bit small and snug through the shoulders and chest. If you are debating between sizes, I recommend sizing up because this coat has no stretch whatsoever. If you need extra room in the hips, but you're small on top, then you should get your normal size. It's also a longer length, making it tall girl friendly. I am a true size 14, sometimes a Large on top, but usually an XL in coats. I got the XL and it just barely buttons across my chest. However, a size bigger would be too big everywhere else. I like it enough that I will keep it and wear it unbuttoned if necessary. The cut of this coat, the length, and the way it flares out at the hips creates a very flattering feminine shape.
