I love this lamp, and I use it as an always-on nightlight in my bathroom. You get a pretty light during the day, and for the evening, you get a nightlight that's bright enough to help you see where you're going without being so bright as to make it hard to fall back asleep. I don't like tuning on lights in the bathroom at night unless it's absolutely necessary, and this was a great replacement for another globe light I'd had since forever. It takes a standard candelabra bulb. I've got a LED bulb which I transferred from my old light, so it'll last for many, many years with continuous running (the bulb I'm using is over 5 years old at this point). The teal is beautiful, and the photo with my review was taken in daylight in a bathroom that never really gets direct sun, so what you see is the level of lighting all the time. I'm planning to redo the decor in my bathroom, and I'm using this lamp as the springboard for colors. ... show more

Bought 3 of these for various areas. Nice glow to them, sculptural/unique. The tan one glows quite pink (different from the picture online). Wish it included a base to sit on, some of the bright light seeps out at the bottom instead of being diffused like it is on the rounded mosaic surface. This lamp is super cute. It’s NOT a good reading lamp or working lamp, but the dim lighting is perfect as a nightlight or dim light in a large room at night. I love it! It is not the typical lamp shape and I love it. Great size too!

Cons: The build quality is pretty iffy and it has that look and feel of something made for dirt cheap in a tiny foreign country where the laborors are making 10 cents/hour. It was covered in a mysterious white dust and there’s not a single joint or seam that isn’t off by at least a few millimeters I’m not returning it, but I wouldn’t pay more than about $18 for it ... show more

It's so pretty with and without light being on. It's bigger than I thought it would be which was surprisingly nice. The only thing that kinda bugs me is the replacment of the bulb. Over all I truly like it.
