Cute lil lamp perfect for a small side table or corner of furniture with the on/off switch on the cord. The shade provides a soft hue for the room. I opted for an Edison bulb. Taking off one star for two reasons 1. Packaging wasn't good the shade itself was bent and I had to mold it back 2. I like the size. It is the perfect size for my computer desk. But, I have a couple of issues. One - the lampshade is wobbly. It is super easy to put it together - but I think I am going to have to use a piece of tape or something because the lampshade will jiggle/wobble/shift easy if the table is bumped. (I live with two cats who are super active and well - they will have a field day with batting this around) My second issue - this is really disappointing - is that is not shiny (like in the picture). I purchased the gold and white lamp. The "gold" lamp is gold in color only - there is NO shine. I mean I will keep it - but I was hoping to have a shiny gold base like in the picture. So, if you purchase the gold and white lamp - please note - it is a dull gold color (NOT shiny like in the picture). ... show more
