For $20, this little lamp is a gem! As others have mentioned, it has an outlet built into the base of the lamp which is very convenient for charging an electronic device. The lamp itself is simple and modern, clean lines and no frills. The lampshade does have a noticeable seam, but if it's turned toward the wall or where the seam is somewhat inconspicuous, it looks lovely. Some have complained about the lampshade not fitting or being wobbly. I have included photos to inform some that there is a "nut" that screws onto the lamp fitting near the bulb. The nut should be unscrewed and the lamp base is inverted to sit on the lamp post and then the nut screws on top of the lampshade. Then the bulb is screwed into its socket for use. The lampshade is secure, does not wobble or perch precariously on top of the bulb. (Please see photos to illustrate how the lampshade is attached. I have purchased several of these lamps for gifts. They have been well-received by their recipients. I would buy again and again because I simply cannot find a negative for this cost-friendly little lamp. ... show more

I’m glad I didn’t spend a lot of money on this lamp, otherwise I would return it. It looks nice and is very functional with the pull cord and the charging station. The issues are that it is a bit flimsy (it wobbles a lot so I don’t think this would be good for a younger child’s room) and the shade came with imperfections. You can see in the photos that these imperfections are not noticeable when the lamp is off, but very noticeable when the lamp is on.
