they're ok. i appreciate reviews when purchasing, so at least i'm aware of possible disappointments. one of my shades arrived a little dented (manufacture defect), but it's not enough to return them, especially since they're not a gift. the bigger issue is the same as most customer reviews mention, the bulb. congrats to all who nailed it on the 1st go! definitely takes a candelabra base bulb, per the instructions. i went with the 40w LED soft white based on a review indicating 60w is too hot and burns the shade. The 40w I bought is still too big bulb-wise, but the base fits fine and the light comes on. it'll do for now but i'll buy the short round ones as another review advises. ... show more

So for the money, these are fine. They’re cute. They work. The ones I ordered arrived damaged, but they’re still okay. The base itself where the stuff screws on there is a plastic part that’s totally broken off, so the shade can’t be secured but...it doesn’t really need to “do” anything. It is just sitting there, so it still works. One of the shades was bent on two sides. But, again, it just sits in one spot and I did turn it so that the damage doesn’t show. Didn’t seem worth it for the price to bother sending it back, so I’m happy with them and keeping them, but the seller oughta’ take note that they arrived this way. Also - they make LED bulbs the right size for this type of lamp now, in case you don’t know. I just found that out today :P ... show more

$10/ea is what I'd spend in the $ Store for these lamps. I'm basically using them as nightlights, so they're good for that purpose, since the wattage can only be 40. Good, sturdy quality with a long cord & convenient on-off button on the cord. Pay attention to dimensions however... I'd have liked something a bit larger, or at least, could use a higher wattage bulb, but that's my fault in wanting to buy online during Covid so it could be delivered to my home, just for safety reasons. Not bad product. Not really what I'd have purchased if I'd seen it in person beforehand. Still, it is good quality. ... show more

I needed a small lamp. So this was perfect. The price was cheap for two. But the bulb fit is a problem.. it’s the smaller base bulbs. But if you get a candrbra style it’s too long and shows over the top of the shade. The only round style I found. Didn’t fit. Not real user friendly.. I guess the best option is one of those short funky looking LED bulbs. ... show more

These are exactly what they say they are if you read the description...TINY. They were perfect for my needs as I wanted 2 TINY lamps for small bedside tables in my guest room. They provide just enough light to get you to the bathroom at night without lighting up the room so much as to wake whomever was in the other side of the bed. They only take a 40 watt bulb, so you should not expect to light up a room with these like it was high noon. Had to write a review about these lamps, cause I read a review on it about the light bulbs and was almost hesitant on ordering them, but I'm glad I did anyway, you can get the light bulbs for them anywhere like DG, walmart etc. Perfect lighting for bedroom, they are very cute lamps and are perfect for our table space in our bedroom. These are cute , yes they are small but just read the description before buying to decide if they are for you or not. I have them next to my iPad to compare size in the picture It’s not exactly the size I was looking for to go next to my bed. They do feel and look a little cheaper than I thought and also they could lower the price for these. After having them for two days I actually decided to return them which I don’t do often. I just couldn’t fall in love with them lol I believe these are meant for kids rooms or on a very small desk. ... show more

As with many of the other reviews you'll see on this item, the size of the lamp is its biggest issue. At only 10" and supporting 40 watt bulbs, the usefulness of the lamp is severely limited. Perhaps in a small space, such as a hallway, or as an end table accent light it may find a purpose, but it otherwise is too small and dim to provide any sort of meaningful light.
