These lamps are so cute. I'm using these on my kitchen shelves. I got them in the white, which really brighten the room. The description of the size is right on point. I don't understand the complaints about the size, get out your tape measure before you order. I used Sunco Lighting 10 Pack E12 LED Bulb Candelabra 2700K Soft White, 5W Equivalent 40W bulbs, which work perfectly. It's true that a traditional candelabra bulb sticks up beyond the shade, which looks awful. Great purchase! ... show more

I guess I underestimated my ability to understand measurements, but these lamps are so tiny it's as though they're nightlights. In fact I had to hunt down nightlight light bulbs to use in this set. This was hard to find as the shades are so short the bulbs were sticking out. I wouldn't purchase these again. They're a pretty decorative piece for the buffet in my dining room, but overall they're not functional and more of a hassle. ... show more

I realize it is my fault for not reading the product specifications to know the size of these lamps. However, I figured I'd share how small they are in case anyone else is deceived by the photo and forgot to check the description. They're very very small, they look like children's lamps. They have a cheap feel to them, super cheap plastic, not nice quality lamp. That's why I'm only leaving 3 stars (& not because of the size, which again was my fault for not checking). These lamps were functional and served their purpose, but were rather disappointing. If I had more money to spend at the time I would have picked something else. What caught my eye was the price and the fact that there were 2 in the package. what I did NOT notice was that these lamps take special light bulbs with the smaller base. This was not very clearly stated in the description. It was annoying because then I had to make an extra trip and hunt down energy-efficient specialty bulbs, which cost as much as the lamps! The design is also not great, because the bases are so small and light weight they get knocked over real easily. If you have pets or kids, I would steer clear. One of these fell off my table the first week I had it and completely shattered. If you just need a small, disposable lamp that you don't care about, then these are for you. ... show more
