I really like this lamp, although it is a bit smaller than anticipated. When I looked at the 'instructions', it called for a chandelier bulb but this type bulb does not fit. An FYI for future buyers, the lamp actually takes a night light bulb.

Lamp is cute but pretty tiny. I thought it be a little bigger. Got it for my kids room. Requires candelabra base light bulbs. I accidentally purchased 60 watts and it is so bright. lol. It's great to have on while my kid falls asleep.

But for real - read the dimensions. It makes me sad to see people knocking stars off of this adorable little lamp because it's "too small". The dimensions of it are very clear and yes, it is so much smaller than any lamp you'll find in your local department or box store. But that's exactly what makes this lamp AWESOME. This lamp basically fits in the palm of your hand and it is absolutely precious. No, it won't light up a room but if you're into some moody, atmospheric lighting - look no further. I, personally, love the size. I think it firts perfectly on smaller, open shelves or in a dark little corner that you'd like to have some light every once in a while. I do think it's valued for its quality. It is light and feels relatively cheap in your hand but honestly, it is quite affordable so I don't have any qualms with it. The size alone sells it for me. Do note: you need a specific bulb that you most likely don't have lying around your house so but sure to add that to your cart, too. ... show more

I used someone else's pic because I didn't want to run downstairs! Lol. I was disappointed that the lamp was the size of a skeeball. It was cute but wished it had been a little bigger and now I'm considered on the fire and melting issues I read in previous comments. I love this lamp. Use it daily. It gives the perfect amount of soft light. My only issue is that the lampshade sits a little low, causing a big portion of light to escape through the top, lighting nothing but the ceiling. Still great little lamp for the money.
