    • A bit oversized shade but wonderful
Very cute! Love the color of the shade, which is turquoise, not blue. I just ordered another. As a bonus, these shades fit ordinary size lamps as well- where are you going to get just even a shade for this price? Only downside is the 40 watt limit seems to be a real one- i tried a 60 watt bulb and the shade quickly got to hot. The base is a nice shiny silver. Heavy enough to stay securely in place but not so heavy its a pain to lift (and I like light weight things). I also like that the on-off rotary switch is on the cord and not up near the light bulb. Note the height given in the description is correct, but that includes when the shade is attached (11 or so inches). the base by itself w/o the shade is about 7-8 inches. Also note the shade is a bit over sized for the lamp - comes down further than the picture shows. but I like it anyway. I dont like the round bulbs(candelabra base) in it that's recommended- weird light, at least the brand i used - but candle-shaped bulbs look great. maakes a good night light too if you want a dim bulb. ... show more

    • It is a tiny lamp and functions as one
Purchased this cute little lamp for my son's desk for school (well, homeschool). It is just the right amount of light, (lightbulbs have to be bought separately). We use it in a room that already has a ceiling light, but on the desk just gives him extra light on whatever he's working on. So far so good. It is very cute and small, so fits nicely on a small desk. Since it's so cute and my son's favorite color, when I bought it around my kid's birthday, I decided to throw this in as a gift and wrap it... and I didn't even get a weird look from him when he opened it, he was all on board for this being one of his presents. I wanted a couple lamps for my classroom, and I was excited to come across this one. The lamp was available in multiple colors, so I just chose the cheapest option. The lamps are identical EXCEPT color and ranged from $6-$15. I’m glad I bought the $6 one. It’s cute, but obviously very cheap. The shade sits on the base at an angle. So the crooked little lamp will be okay for my classroom, but I won’t be buying another one and would never put this in my home. ... show more

    • VEERY basic. Way too expensive at 11.99 for what it is
It is indeed very small, but that doesn’t Bother me. I wanted a relatively small one. What bothers me is that it is incredibly cheap. The kind of lamp you would be willing to spend about $5 on, if you saw it on a shelf. I was expecting something more stylish, or better quality fabric on the shade. My son wanted a brighter nightlight to help him sleep and so I searched on Amazon for a small inexpensive lamp and found this cutie. It gives off just enough light as to not be intrusive and my son has it on every night. It was easy assembly and although it’s only $10ish it’s not cheaply made. I also like that the on/off switch is at a reachable spot on the cord so you don’t have to bend and stretch to find it. Be aware that it takes special lightbulbs like what you use in a chandelier.     • Perfect little
I love this little lamp. It sits on my kitchen counter and it’s just the perfect amount of light. I have an LED bulb in it so I basically leave it on 24x7 uses next to zero electric but adds the perfect ambiance to my kitchen that I wanted. I am very happy with it.

    • Great little lamp!
This is a great little lamp. We purchased it for our travel trailer. I wanted something light weight so if it fell over it wouldn't break or cause damage to anything else. This fits the bill. The base is sturdy enough but not too heavy. The shade is just the right color and very light weight. It is not very tall which to me is another plus. The only thing I changed was the light bulb. Our entire travel trailer has LED lighting so I purchased an LED bulb to put in it (also from Amazon). The lamp does take a single candelabra base bulb (E12 base) so it's a little different but easy to find on Amazon. ... show more

    • Great product - needs special light bulbs
I didn't carefully read and this does not come with a light bulb and it does not take a standard light bulb, so make sure you order the bulbs too. They said that in the listing but I didn't dig that deep in the listing for a cheap item. Once I got the lightbulbs, this is fantastic!
