I like the lamp, it's perfect for what I needed it for. I knocked off 1 star because the shade is dented in several spots. Yes you can push the dents out but it does leave a mark. I'd return but I don't want to pack it all back up. More careful packaging should be considered.

1- the shade was dented 2- turn on switch is on cored 3- the lamp didn’t work at all This lamp is the cheapest lamp ever. First the shade was dented all over. Thinking to myself “no big deal easy enough to buy a shade I like anyway”. After going and purchasing a shade I was setting it up went to turn on the lamp, the turn on switch is on the cord itself. You roll it with your thumb to turn it on. Okay no big deal because I can just give lamp away. BUT.... To make matters worse the lamp didn’t even work. Needless to say the lamp went straight in the trash. Didn’t bother sending back because I didn’t want to spend another dime on this thing, Don’t waste your money. ... show more

Just received this black lamp with a black shade....it is perfect. I needed a lamp that was only for. Single 60 W Bulb. I have several lamps but they all use a three-way bulb. I had purchased the new LED Bright-Living- Bulbs that must be used in a single source light fixture....because these bulbs have an internal battery that will act as a power source the next time I have a power outage. This lamp is just the right height for my black end table in my family room. I am very pleased with the lamp and very happy it worked for me.
