The apartment complex that I live in , recently ( read ,3 days before Christmas ) remodeled my Kitchen . You know , new cabinets , granite countertops , the works . And I needed a slightly softer light source for my overnight needs , and this lamp fit those needs perfectly . The distressed paint work was so cute . The was however two slight problems , first the heart was wasn't completely filled in . But a black sharpie took care of that . Second,the letter C in welcome looks a lot like a G ,unless you look really close you can't tell . Other than those issues , I can most certainly recommend purchasing this lamp . ... show more

I've ordered about 3 different kitchen lamps and none were what I wanted. I saw this lamp and loved the country feel to it..we r farmers live on 400 acres.. I don't like real bright lights first thing in the morning.. I like placing a smaller lamp on top of our coffee maker..I opened package yesterday and fell in love with this lamp!! It uses 60 watt bulb which is perfect lighting for our kitchen, bright enough to see but not too bright. No assembly just pop the lamp shade on and put in a bulb.. Packaging was awesome!!
