It's remarkably hard to find reasonably priced, solidly built, and simple-lines floor lamps. This is all those things. If you want a floor lamp that lights a room, fits with any design of furniture, and is easy to put together, this fills the bill. I love the look of these lamps. They are simple in design and perfect height. I was disappointed in the shades (I bought a pair). Both were flimsy and dented. The fabric also had obvious flaws, so I had to position them to hide the imperfections. They are ok, I wish the shades were sturdier.

I loved the look and the price, but this is a case of getting what you pay for. The joints where the lamp column screws together are so skimpy the thing falls apart whenever you touch it to move it. I cannot tell you how many times I have screwed it back together. Its too bad because the shade is nice and the base is heavy. Bottom line: Stylish but poorly made. Pretty bummed, I ordered this lamp about a year ago and when I got it the lamp shade wasn't usable because it was so dented and there were lines all over so you could even turn it a different way to hide them. I didn't care enough to review it at that point because I replaced it, the base was still fine, it wasn't that expensive, whatever. However, after having it in my office for about a year, turning it on in the morning and off when I leave, nothing I would consider excessive by any means, the floor switch crapped out. I can step on it and turn it on so I know the bulb isn't burnt out or that it's something with the wiring as a whole, it just won't stay on. I know it was an inexpensive lamp, but I thought it would at least last longer than a year and change... ... show more

I purchased this Nickel Brush Drum shade lamp in black ( used) march 2, 2019 The Lamp condition is good! 👍 It compliment my living room and the living room decor as I wanted. The shade is drum style as I expected. The drum shape is also not to big. The switch works well! 👍 the switch is located below on the cord with an off and on button. + a Phillips light bulb was included! 👍👍 This lamp is style is the new modern decor for livingroom or office.
