I set up another lamp in a different room, which was almost identical. This one lit up the room far better. Same bulbs, so I think the lamp shade at the top is what did it. And the side lamp is pretty good for desk reading, too.

Little weird with the way the wire is ran through it but it's a good lamp. Does it job. Box is a little outdated in that most current light bulbs not go by the typical wattage anymore.
