this is a very nice lamp
Color: Black
This is a very nice lamp. I put it in my room that needed extra light from a light bulb and have had a great time putting it together and plugging it in. I put a nice LED light bulb in it and will not have to worry about having light now for many years. The great thing about this lamp is it uses a standard A19 light bulb so I don't have to freak out about buying weird shaped and expensive light bulbs in the future. The lamp looks nice as well and is very pleasant.

Perfect size
Color: Silver
This simple lamp is the perfect size to put in a small spot. Since you put your own bulb in it, you can get an LED of any brightness and color you like. If your needs change, get a different bulb and not a new lamp. Also, since you put your own bulb in it, if there's a problem with the LED, you don't have to throw away the entire lamp. LOVE THIS LAMP.

Cheap
Color: Black
Super cheap lamp. You can tell when you touch it as it’s quite flimsy. But it does the job, which is to light up the room.

incorrect instructions, missing pieces, cheap quality, but overall fine
Color: Black
It's clear that they proportioned all of the cost of this into making the base weighted. The poles are very cheap quality and the threads aren't great. The plastic pieces are also very flimsy and thin. The lamp shade/diffuser is extremely cheap and thin plastic. The instructions are incorrect. They claim yo need to attach 5 poles, but there are not 5 poles included. Instructions also state you may route the cable through the poles, but this is also incorrect because the pole diameter is too small to fit the 2 large things sticking out from the power cable (the switch and the part that plugs into the wall). The final flaw in the instructions is that the top piece that goes directly under the diffuser arrived detached from the top pole. Nothing in instructions says to screw it in and feed the wire through further and out the hole on the side of the top pole. A stupid person would be stuck here! It also appears I received a used unit, with white stuff all over it. This could be why that one part I last described above was detached, as well. It should do for a budget lamp in my living room. I don't care that much about a lamp.. I just want the light mainly. But it's just a bit of a shock to get something so tacky.

Does exactly what it needs to do
Color: Black
Bought this lamp to add some much needed light to my home office and was not disappointed! It's a simple torch lamp, but I added a smartbulb to automate some of its functions.

Absolutely awful lamp
Color: Black
It worked for about a month or more but even then I had to mess with it for the wire to be just right so it would work. It was like messing with a phone charging cord to get it to hit that perfect point for it to properly charge the phone. It was awful and then one day I guess the wire was bent just right enough for it to break and I can’t get it to work at all. I bought this because it said it was the “Amazon choice” but I regret purchasing it.
