Have to read the instructions closely. Some of the steps are not all that clear. You have to ratchet part of it to get the silver slotted bar to release.     • difficult to fit Nissan Versa Hatchback
with all the different clips and adjustments, the angles of the clamps were just not quite right for the 2016 Nissan Versa Note Hatchback. If I got the metal holders to fit the frame, the padding would not be seated properly on the roof of the car. If it was seated properly, the clamps were not in place to hold onto the frame. I got it close by carefully going around and tightening each bit little by little with help holding everything in place until I could force it to clamp evenly. ... show more
