10/10 would buy again. I work in Electrical and we use 10ft sticks of pipe. I drive a 2015 Chevy Cruze Diesel (US Model) and it not only fits perfectly but it allows me the ability to transport pipe anywhere to or on site with ease compared to before putting it through the trunk onto the dash and hanging out 4ft. I do have plans on putting a basket on the driver side but by my measurements I should be able to add the basket to the far left side and still have room on the far right to use for just pipe transport (I have a 5ft "chicken stick" CB antenna on my left/driver side trunk lid). No regrets on this purchase has made my life less of a headache, easy to assemble, good price, nice build though its loud on the highway, it keeps everything perfectly secured to the vehicle. ... show more

I was going for looks and it did just that. I was quite shocked seeing how sturdy it was and to be fair, the directions don’t help at all, there’s a QR code linked to the youtube that helped me build it. Once you learn how to put together one of the 4 clamps, it’s downhill from there. I’m seeing a lot of people leave reviews based on lack of grip or stability and I can point out everything they did wrong. For the value it’s with it, it will hold your stuff for sure. Does not fit my 2015 VW CCR line. There is no top to the VW door frame--the window is the top of the frame, and there is nothing to attach the clamps to.

All the brackets and hardware seem relatively sturdy and it’s simple enough to put together in theory. This product is listed as compatible with a Toyota Prius C, but no matter how many attempts I made of fiddling with it I could never get it secure enough that I felt comfortable. Roof line of the Prius C is very curved as it’s a very small hatchback and there’s two different problems. On the front doors, the frame width is so narrow that the smallest of the clamp options is too big and the only way to get a moderately secure attachment is to inset the foot onto the car roof Inside of the rain gutter as opposed to the instructions which direct you to place the foot straddling the rain gutter so that the load is distributed onto the structural framing and not the weak roof. Even if you put it on the inside of the roof, it still jostles around Because the rubber that was included was not grippy enough, and there wasn’t enough of a squeeze with the particular geometry of the roof line. On the back doors, the frame is much wider so that’s not a problem when you end up needing to use the largest of the three brackets but here the issue is that the frame curves so dramatically that the Hook portion of the bracket can only make contact with one or the other Side of the arch. Again, you can get a moderately secure plant, but just lightly tapping the bar, the whole thing moves forward or backward. I was not confident enough in this and ended up returning it. Unfortunately, I wasted half an afternoon trying to get this working hopefully I save someone else that trouble. I would not recommend this for a prius-C or any other small hatchback with a dramatically curved roof line. ... show more

Th functionality of this roof rack is okay, it does its job. It took a little while to get the install right, and the end caps could benefit from a way to secure them. They’ve fallen off a few time for me and I just slide them back on. However, I am now missing two. No idea where they went. I am very curious if there’s a way that I could just purchase a few more. ... show more

I put these roof bars to the test, set up process was alright, there’s a video you watch and it’s pretty seamless to put together, mounting them on the car is another thing i constantly worried about them getting loose on my camping trip which I was right I drove a total of 4 hours with these to and from my campsite and mounted my roof box on and when got home one of the latches was practically falling off which I have no idea how it stayed intact with my roof box on top, the hardware is super cheap like and strips easily just by trying to tighten all the hardware. they worked but I wouldn’t recommend them if your trying to use them for long trips I will be returning this item. ... show more
