The media could not be loaded. 🗓️ Length of Ownership: I’ve had this ice maker for almost a year now, and I’m genuinely impressed by how well it’s held up. I wasn’t expecting it to last this long for the price, but it’s been a great investment, especially during the summer. ❄️ Performance: We keep the machine running constantly in the warmer months, and it consistently provides fresh ice throughout the day. You can choose between small or large ice cubes—though even the “large” ones aren’t huge, they’re a perfect size for our drinks. As long as the bin isn’t full, the machine keeps producing ice reliably without any issues. 🧼 Maintenance: Taking care of this machine has been very simple. About once every two weeks, I wipe it down with vinegar and warm water—mainly the inside compartment and the removable basket. That’s really all it takes to keep it clean and running smoothly. It’s not complicated at all and only takes a few minutes. 🔊 Noise Level: The noise level is surprisingly reasonable. It’s not silent, but it’s definitely not loud enough to be annoying. We usually have it running in the background, and it doesn’t bother us at all. 👨👩👧 Usage & Capacity: It’s just my husband and me using it, and it easily covers our daily needs—typically 6 to 8 drinks a day in the summer. I bought this for my mother, who is anemic and loves the pellet ice, or the good ice as she calls it. I use it when I visit her. It does take a little bit of time to make the ice, but my mom just makes a bunch at once and then puts it in the freezer for later. This is a quality feeling unit. It’s not cheap, but I do recommend it. It is aesthetically pleasing and looks nice. The ice is the perfect texture and tastes nice. It has the ability to hold a lot of ice, as the ice bay is pretty roomy. It feels like a well made and durable device. It was quick and easy to put together and it is easy to use, with a simple interface.

Ice capacity: This ice maker works fine for its purpose—it gets the job done. The large cubes are great (especially if you're into ASMR), but the small cube setting doesn’t make much of a difference and feels kind of useless. One downside is that the ice melts quickly once it hits the bottom of the machine, so you have to use or transfer it fast. Cleaning isn’t the easiest either, and the included tray fills up a little too quickly. That said, if you're just looking for a compact, reliable ice maker for occasional use, it does what it's supposed to.

So far this ice maker has performed admirably, but stay tuned. Pros: fast ice, nice soft crunch, larger capacity than my other purchases, reasonably efficient cleaning mode. Cons: squeaky noise (cleaning needed). As I said earlier "stay tuned" review is ongoing, but so far so good! 7/16/25 UPDATE: Well, we have had this ice maker for ten months now and up till recently, it's been working like a charm, nice ice, fast ice, self clean works perfectly, and overall we were very happy, but recently, it started making some really strange noises during the clean cycle, as well as during ice making and the ice making is a little slower now. We have had several ice makers, and they are pretty much act the same way. I will say for this one. It has lasted longer than the others. We have had expensive ones and not expensive ones and unfortunately, they all are pretty much the same. It is unfortunate that they do not have great lifespans. I'm ol school and remember when things were purchased from Sears or Montgomery Wards the quality was very good and the products lasted a long time. I still have some things that are working well. It is sad that companies do not have that same standard anymore.
