My husband goes through ice when he is home on the weekends, like it's going out of style. Everyone complains because we had to buy extra bags on weekends just so we could get some. But my freezer is too packed now, so I purchased this machine for his use. It's great because when we are outside, he can bring it out on our porch (no more Honey, can you run in and get me another thing of ice?) so when he's doing yard work, I don't get called from whatever I'm doing to run, and he's not running in and out with yard debris on his feet! It makes a good amount of ice and it's not noisy. It does NOT keep the ice frozen....it freezes and drops in the bin. As it melts, it refreezes into cubes. They are hollow, that's why they freeze so quickly, but they do the job they need to do. He loves the machine and was excited to get it as an early birthday gift. (I didn't know he'd been looking at the same one for a few days)

I currently do not have an ice maker with my fridge and those darn ice trays just take up too much space! Purchasing this ice maker was a game changer! Not only is it a cute color, it is also compact and fits very nicely on my limited kitchen counter space. When not filled with water, it is pretty light weight so easy to move around if needed. If you follow the instructions, making ice is super easy and fast! If you use pre chilled water the wait time for full sized ice cubes is lessened even more. I have some containers in my freezer so i can have immediate access to ice without the wait time. The icecubes do come out wet so when they are put into the freezer, they do freeze stuck together but easy enough to break apart. It is small so do not expect this as a good option for a very large family or for a large party of people unless you use this to create ice to store in the freezer. Cleaning this is not the easiest but not entirely too difficult.

Love this ice maker. It makes every 6 minutes. I use bottled water. I clean it weekly. Inside where the water goes is that little square. It pops out and you can clean it. There is a hole in the front center where you can drain the water if you need to for some reason. So that’s really convenient. The ice can be small or large. It’s not like crushed ice. The good good ice. But it’s perfect enough to bite easily and enjoy!!! I love it. Price was great too. We were buying 2/5 bags of ice daily. That’s adds up. This machine has helped us out a lot. We love it and are glad we bought it! See photo where the little square is. There is a little dirty/sand particles from scooping the ice and the normal in and out of peoples hands. That’s why it’s super important to clean this at least weekly. Warm water and vinegar. Or there are tablets to clean it for us. Never use HoT water tho. It’ll ruin it. Enjoy

I gave this product four stars. I purchased this a few months ago and it rocks! The only reason why it’s not a five star is it claims two different size ice cubes….. it’s all the same size. But this machine is quiet and makes a lot of ice no problem. The only real noise you here is when ice cubes drop into the tray. Machine itself is quiet. If I could change anything it would be keeping the ice cubes colder once made. Ice cubes need to be removed immediately once made or they will start to melt and then stick together. But great product overall !

Overall I love it, makes me ice, less of a mess and hassle than ice trays in the freezer, and it's pretty quick. Definitely can make ice in 6 minutes, fairly quiet, and also comes with a suction cup hook for the scooper. Unfortunately, the ice isn't kept cool so it's constantly melting and refreezing the ice. I don't mind but just know that for those trying to conserve energy. Only negative thing I can really say is the ice easily builds up and doesn't roll down into the bucket. As seen in the picture, the ice kinda builds up in one spot and blocks the sensor. Not a major issue since new ice can be made in six minutes though. Not the sellers fault but I'd recommend buying this product with another item. Product itself is packaged really well, but at Amazon shipping, they put mine into a bigger box without any bubble wrap or other packaging material so the box can easily slide around. Hopefully if you add another item, they'd (amazon) actually care to protect it more.

It's been a very long, hot summer and this ice machine keeps the ice coming. It's very simple to use, just keep water in the reservoir and you're good to go. I do wish held a bit more water, but not an issue. The only thing about it I don't like is the noise. While it is between batches, it's quiet enough. While it's making the ice it makes quite a bit of noise, mostly from the fans. Still, it really beats waiting for ice cube trays to freeze !

A small portable ice machine that makes ad much as the larger ones. The smaller water well and basket does mean you need to keep an eye on it. Min fills the basket in just under an hour. About the only drawback is the size of the basket, but if you need, empty it ot several times and You've got 20 lbs of ice before you know it.

We were people that still used multiple ice trays for years until we purchased this item. Complete change of venue! This little item is not only small, stable and fit most countertops, it makes lots of ice in a matter of an hour. No more waiting for hours or going to the store for ice. It's a great quality icemaker for your buck. This maker is a little loud but it's capacity for producing ice makes up for the noise.
