I absolutely love this fountain! I have 2 cats and a dog that all drink from fountains. I have 4 fountains total, and 2 of them are this style. I dread when it comes time to clean the other 2 because I have to unplug and unwrap the cords (I keep them tucked away so the pets don't get hung up). Then, I have to carry the lid to the sink, dripping water along the way. Then, take the base to the sink to clean. And when you want to refill them, you have to lay a wet lid down on the floor or somewhere else to set it while you fill up the fountain. But all of that mess doesn't occur with this fountain. You simply remove the basin from the base and take the whole thing to the sink. No water dripping, no cords to unplug or drag behind you for the cats to attack. If I could find a fountain of this style but larger capacity, like 2 gallons, I would completely do away with the other styles. Once you get to the sink, the fountain is easier to clean as well. The pump isn't attached to cords, so you can easily clean it and just place it back in the grooved area. I personally have never had a problem with water not coming up enough, and I've had this style of fountain for over a year. There is a groove that the lid fits into, and maybe others aren't lining that up right, so the water doesn't come out. But this isn't supposed to be a faucet fountain with a stream of water flowing dripping downward anyway. It's what they call a lava style, so it bubbles up from the hole, and the lid is angled so the water runs down it, into the filter hole, and gets cycled through again. The filters are easy to find and reasonably priced. They have tabs so you can clearly tell the correct way to place them. They hold up well to rinsing and cleaning them. I rub them clean all the time. I also notice less slimy sides than the other styles of fountains. So it's quicker to clean in that sense as well. It's also pretty much silent. The motor has no sound and since water isn't dripping like a faucet you don't hear any water splashing. Even when it gets low on water, I can't hear it at all. The assembly is so simple. You just plug in the base, fill the insert with water, place it in the basin, and you're ready to go. The light on the front turns red when more water is needed so you can quickly see the status. If just my 2 cats drink out of this, it will last a week. I can't say enough good things about this fountain. Over time, I've tried at least 10 different fountains, and this is my favorite by far! Highly recommend it!!!

I purchased this water fountain for my new kitties. I didn't realize it would be too tall for them. (My error, of course). So, I can't quite use it yet. I can tell you the fountain is easy to clean and goes together easily and quickly. It is very simple design and is clean looking and isn't a visual distraction. I love the fact that it uses are wireless pump so the fountain isn't tethered to a wall. I can't wait to use it as soon as the kittens are a little bit bigger.

My cats love drinking from their new fountain! It's great because it isn't too loud- I usually have to check if it's even on! It does run out of water occasionally, and then you have to fill it back up. I wish that it made a noise when it ran out, because I haven't noticed any noise for that! One thing that is a little annoying is that the plug becomes unplugged really easily. Sometimes I notice that the fountain is not on, and it's because the plug fell out of the wall socket!

The design of this fountain is very unique and allows me to pull out the inner shell to bring the whole thing to the sink for refilling if I wish. The wireless pump is so quiet, I would have no idea it was running were it not for the fact I can see the water bubbling at the top! One of my cats prefers running/moving water, so this helps ensure she drinks an appropriate amount during the day. And the fact that it's so quiet and easy to clean makes it wonderful for me!

Favorite part of this is the way nothing is fastened or clamped, so no bacteria can stay when you clean it. Everything disassembles easily for deep cleaning. There is no annoying hum from the motor, and it has a light indicator for when the water level is low. So far, my cat has had no issues drinking from it.

This is a good water fountain bowl. The pump is really cool in the wireless power it receives. I do wish there was a magnet to hold it down as it likes to float and it is the lid that holds it down. It is very quiet and has a large water reservoir so it holds quite a bit. My cats really like and the filter is great too. I am happy with how this works. The on/off button is great and the cord is long enough to reach outlets a bit further away. I like it a lot.

I love the look and design of this unit, and so does my cat. It’s super easy to fill and absolutely silent. The indicator light for when it needs to be refilled is also helpful.

The thing that excited me about this was the large basin, meaning (supposedly) that even if something happened to me, my kitty would still have many days of water flowing. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case. While things go together easily and the concept seems good, the bubbler isn’t strong enough to bring up water unless the device is completely full. I put a full eight cups of water in the basin and couldn’t get enough to come up to where it was available for a pet, although I could see it just out of reach. It needs a stronger pump, perhaps. I like the size of this — it doesn’t have a big footprint. But my entire interest in it was the large water supply. Since it is unavailable, I’m returning it.
