I got this before a knee replacement, have had it a few weeks now. It's very super comfy, the lifting is smooth and effortless and quiet, the recline is almost flat. The quality of this solid chair and looks are almost as good as it feels. Only slight drawback is the extension for feet could go higher but I bought a wedge pillow to keep leg elevated higher. Won't find many that recline as flat as this one does for sleeping. Really pleased with it and loved the setup and takeaway feature for an extra 30 they unbox, put together and make sure it works before they leave. Was a great buy all the way around. If your gonna be stuck in a chair for awhile, this is the one. The motors on this are very smooth and solid. Things a beast. It doesn't have heat or massage but those things usually break anyways. Highly recommend this after looking around sometime. Best bang for your buck. ... show more

I bought this for my 6'2", 195#, 78 year old husband for Christmas because he had trouble getting in and out of chairs due to double knee replacements. He was scheduled for surgery in January, which could further impede his ability get out of the chair he spend all of his waking hours in, so after looking at many recliners and reading a lot of customer reviews, I felt this chair would be a good solution. Well, based on my husband's report, it turned out to be perfect. First, in resting position it sets a little higher than the regular recliner he used to have, which in his case the higher profile is comfortable to start with. The lift feature is very helpful for him, especially on the days he is feeling more tired than ususal. While in the full recline position the end of the leg lift falls to about 4" above his ankle. I was very concerned about this when I researched the dimensions of all the chairs I looked at. The seat is wider than the regular recliner. My husband is not slender but not heavy in stature (195#), but I am certain that if he were heavier it would certainly still be comfortable. He reports it is quite comfortable. When the motor for lift and recline is activated, it is very quiet. The leather is very attractive and seems to be very sturdy. It was shipped in a sturdy box and relatively easy to assemble. It was delivered to our garage. Delivery did not include set up, but I knew that up front because that information was included in the advertising, so it was up to us to move it to the intended room which was a slight challenge only because he is 78, and I am 63, but we figured it out and took our time. As advertised it fit through a regular door opening. The chair is delivered in two main sections, the lower seat and the back. The lower section is heavier than a regular recliner because of the motor. My guess is about 10-12 lbs. heavier. The arm cushions and the vertical side back cushions need to be installed but were quite easy because they are mounted on slide brackets and just slide together fairly easy. The two main sections slide together pretty easy as well. Then the hand control gets plugged in to the motor, and the motor is plugged into the wall and it's ready to go. I have hopefully provided enough information for those that are shopping for this type of chair. My husband (the main user of the chair) and I are very satisfied with the purchase of this chair and would recommend it. ... show more

I like the look and color and the head rest is comfortable. But as others have said..the height of the leg when raise isn't high enough. I have to slide a small pillow underneath my legs to keep them at my desired height. And the seat is rather hard..but I have a pillow for that too.

Wasn't sure about buying a recliner on line. Decided to take a chance with the sale price. Recliner came in one box. Was left on my front porch. Heavy but I got it inside and slid the box on a trash bag into the room it would be in. Suggest two people to put it together. Followed instructions and took about 15 minutes to assemble (including unpacking and checking parts). Recliner is very comfortable and operates quietly. The only problem with it is the size. I am 5ft 10in tall and just fit this recliner. Taller people will find it to short and the seat not deep enough. I have back problems as well as breathing problems so the ability to adjust the back to any angle is perfect for me. The foot rest comes up level with the floor but no higher. There aren't any fancy features like heat or message. But the padding is good and support seems good. Construction seems very good. I got this recliner to use daily and I hope it holds up well for many years. So far happy with this purchase. Time will tell. Also the recliner came on time and as described. Box was bruised and battered but recliner was fine. ... show more
