The best purchase we made for our nursery. This chair was a life saver for my husband and I. It’s so comfortable and soft. Its high arms keep you secure while holding the baby during the middle of the night when you feel so tired. It was easy to assemble however, it’s huge so it wasn’t the easiest to get into the house and moved into the nursery. It’s great quality and easy to spot clean. It was definitely pricey. There are a couple things that I wish were better; when rocking, the base clicks and feels like something is stuck in the rocking mechanisms but after checking multiple time there was nothing stuck so that’s annoying and for the price I wish it was not a manual recliner but a power recliner. I had and sometimes still have difficulty pushing the foot rest back into place. It takes a bit of force and after a C-section, I was not able to do that. Overall, we love the chair! ... show more

BUY THIS CHAIR. With the amount of time I spend feeding and rocking a baby every day / night I decided I deserved a nice, comfortable chair to do so in. To tell a short story long, I first saw this chair on the Ashley furniture website, but wasn’t quite ready to bite the price (totaling about $1,000 after taxes and delivery fees). Then, I saw the chair again in an Ashley furniture store when we were shopping for something else, sat in it and was in awe of how comfortable it was, though still couldn’t quite make myself spend that much money on a single chair. Lo and behold, I was scrolling through Facebook and I came across an Amazon ad as I occasionally do - and there was the chair again! I clicked on it, just to see, and it was significantly cheaper than the in store and online Ashley price, plus free shipping with Prime! I couldn’t believe it, and couldn’t ignore it, and so I ordered it. I opted out of the in room delivery / assembly for the additional $100 and if you are able bodied or have a man around you can easily opt out too. The delivery men were very nice and after signing for the delivery they kindly brought it just inside the front door for me. It honestly isn’t that heavy, I was able to get the base of it up the stairs by myself (though I did feel that epidural spot in my back afterwards so maybe don’t be stubbornly independent like me and just wait for your husband to get home to help you lol) and the “assembly” is merely sliding the back of the chair onto the bars of the base until it clicks and setting the pillows down - super duper easy. Comfortable, looks nice, only complaint is they slide backwards. I have to move mine up every day. I rock in mine. My husband reclines and doesn’t have this problem. I do have it on hardwood floors. Perhaps on carpet you may not have this issue. I think they set was a little overpriced, I expected more from Ashley. My husband is 5’10 and the chair fits him perfectly. I am 5’3 and the seat is a little deep for me, so I slide down to touch the floor. I am over all pleased. They do look nice, but they are not a high quality looking chair. ... show more

I spent an entire day looking for a rocker recliner for my new grandson. The last store we went to was an Ashley furniture and we fell in love with this chair. The problem was, it would take weeks to get and we wanted it right away. We came home and found it on Amazon for the same price and 2 days later it was in my house. The look is better than we expected. It seems oversized but it's actually smaller than others we found. I'm 5'3' but can sit back to rock in this chair and my feet still hit the floor. The functionality is perfect and he's been fed and rocked to sleep many times. The color is also perfect and goes great with my neutral tones. The chair is warm and cozy and I'm sure when my grandson grows he will love the hidden compartments. What a great purchase. ... show more
