So happy with this purchase! These bar stools exceeded my expectations. I wanted something that was comfortable and sturdy and would clean easily if something was spilled on it. Check, check and check! When we first opened the box we were so surprised with the size of the seats! We put it on a dining room chair to see how it fit when I sat on it and it was comfortable and roomy. I'm attaching pictures of it on the dining room chair so you have some idea of the size. Our island is 6 feet long but has 2 end pieces/support for the granite counter top and they fit perfectly. The swivel seat is very tight and doesn't swivel well. You have to pull the stool out far enough to get in it as if it didn't have a swivel seat and then push the chair up to the counter. Once you are in it you can swivel easily. I'm hoping it loosens up and swivels easier as we use it. My husband put these together by himself and didn't have any problems. It took him about 45 minutes to put together both. Everything arrived in good condition and there weren't any missing parts. The black "leather" feels soft to the touch and is stitched beautifully. I'm so happy with this purchase. I really love these barstools. They are sturdy and comfy. I like that they swivel without feeling "loose". I purchased the bar height which doesn't leave a lot of thigh room if you have thicker thighs. However, they are sturdy for those worried about the weight limit (my concern). The color is a beautiful blue (not too dark or light), with a very soft velvety feel. I purchased 4 for my kitchen island, but really only needed 3 since they are a little larger than I anticipated. To sum it up, definitely invest if you're on the fence. The price was comparable, if not less, than many other stores offering a similar product. ... show more

It took 1 hr to assemble one chair. After assembling I found 2 issues. 1. Stitches already came out 2. Not sturdy it’s wobbly as 4 leafs don’t touch the floor Very disappointed with the order. It looks good but I am worried that stitches will worn out and spread all over

These are heavy/sturdy chairs. They swivel and are super comfy. The color really warms up my stale kitchen. Perfect countertop height. I have recently been buying a lot of furniture on Amazon, to furnish my new home. I’m actually really impressed with the quality.

Sits very well and comfortable but we are tall and the depth of the chair is slightly lacking but not too bad. Probably would not affect people under 5’10’’ but just thought I’d make this feature know. Counter Height.

The chairs are a nice color, and somewhat sturdy. BUT with that said 2 of the legs are shorter which makes the chair wobbly , one chair the stitching is off and taller than the other. One chair does not center in the middle. One side has a dent proabaly from packaging & shipping. My problem is you cant get or find support with Ashley furniture ? to possibly get sent more legs ? amazon told me it does not have that information, nor can i find it myself on this website. My only option is to return for another set, with the chances of getting another defective chair. Who knew it would be this hard to get support? ... show more
