Update: After a bit of haggling, the seller sent a new table and I love it. Assembly was not difficult. It is a solid table and looks great in my eat in kitchen. The table arrived with damage to the corner of the tabletop. It is very heavy, and one FedEx delivery driver pulled it off the truck and stumbled to the door with it. Through Amazon, the seller offered free return, but I have to drop it off - I'm not sure how I'm going to do that since it won't fit in my car. I have asked for a replacement tabletop. The seller is currently reviewing my request, so I will update my review when the issue is resolved. ... show more

Table is very sturdy and good quality. Assembly was not difficult other than being a little heavy and I had no one to help me. The price is so much better than at the store. I chose some barstools from Amazon to go with the table and I’m very happy. The color is a little different than I thought, Maybe a bit mahogany color. It’s very pretty though. Parts came warped significantly, the wooden board the tabletop screws onto was curved so much you could rock on it. The table top itself has a giant gap in the side, thicker than a quarter. It appears it was a manufacturing error, where the sides were not glued and screwed on properly (nothing we can fix). Contacted Amazon and they offered my $39 but I’m not even sure this table will function long term (the leaf didn’t want to go in properly due to the warped wood) ... show more
