Need 2 people to do replacement the headlights. Because you have take off the bumper. Then there is a bar too. Make sure you 168 light bulbs so you replace it since you the headlight out. And order some plastic taps. When take them off. Some may break on you. It is a 2 hour job with 2 people.

Bought smoked head lights for wifes MDX. Simple install under 1hr if you know what your doing. Remove old lights and just swap parts to the new head lights. Some bumper clips may break due to being plastic but can easily be replaced by local store that sells the doorman brand for Acura. It gave this MDX a cool look.     • Installed fine with modifications
Both turn signal sockets suffered from manufacturing defects on each headlight. Both had to be ground out proper to seat the bulb sockets in. Aesthetically they look okay.

    • Pain but I’d say worth it
To install you have to remove the whole front end of the body. Which means pulling out plastic rivets on top and bottom. Then four nuts & bolts are to be removed from each side. Two are the hardest too get to. 5 hours to take out and put in. Add 2 more hours for rivet breaks and finding them all. Aswell nuts&bolts. So plan on a 7 hour job for two replacement front lights. But changes the look of my suv and that’s what I was looking for. ... show more
