I purchased this table and I was impressed how it came so fast by UPS in 2 days.The packaging of the table was all put together the table was packed well I had no damage when I receiving it. Putting this table was a hassle, it took me about an hour and half because of all the screws I had to use to insult the table, this table is very sturdy after I sew on table legs and the centerpieces. Very nice, sturdy, and the cushioned seats are comfortable. The way the seat are made, at a later time, could be easily removed and reupholstered if desired. I gave it an overall 4 rating for the following reasons. One is the table height is about a quarter inch to an inch higher than what is standard. I knew this in advance after reading other reviews, and thought the extra inch may be a problem. I only ordered this one after not finding anything else I liked. An inch makes a big difference when an adult is short, as well as for children. And it does make a difference to me, but I accept it. Secondly, I've noticed scratches on the table top. I've only had it for about a month, so don't know if they were there from the beginning. I think the table top might be prone to scratching. Thirdly, after almost finishing the assembly of one of the chairs, we noticed one of the four appendages, where the screw connects the chair and cushion, was missing. I'm still debating whether or not to take it apart and return it or keep it as it appears stable with 3 screws. Finally, the assembly is easy, but does not a lot of time.     • Love the look, but poor quality control dept. ? Maybe the ones on Amazon are all seconds?
The table is beautiful, but came with a couple of scratches on the table top and a chip out of the lower center piece of wood that holds the bottom of the table together. Also, beware of sharp edges on the legs. I asked to replace the center piece and just live with the scratches, but that isn't how they handle that type of situation. It's return the whole table or you don't. Since we had already thrown the outer box in the trash, that couldn't be done, so they were accommodating and offered to replace the whole table, and to donate the old one to charity. By the way, the Styrofoam packing around both tables, but especially the first, was destroyed and small beads of white were everywhere. Which tells me they are not packing them right or the shipping company is not handling them right? Second table had problems too, no scratches on top, but odd flaws in the finish, like a poly machine stopped for a second and left little shiny marks. Also, the smaller bottom board didn't have one large chip, but several small cuts around the circumference instead. I kept the original one and stained the chip. So, if you buy it, inspect it well before throwing the large outer box away. Also, both inner and outer box was damaged in many places. The table is beautiful, but from what I have read, the table scratches easily on both the wood and glass. I have soft placemats on it and am careful to watch that the grandkids aren't careless with it. We ordered the chairs from a different seller, I did find a 2 to 3 " flaw in the fabric on one chair and mentioned it to the seller, but did not rec. a reply ... show more

I needed this table to go with chairs that I previously owned as I moved into my new apartment. I previously saw it on another website & decided to check Amazon - where I go it at a better price! This is a beautiful & heavy table. The box that it came in was beat up but there was no damage to the table. Whew! Even the glass was packaged well👌🏾 I started to assemble it, but needed my son-in-law’s help because it was too heavy for me to maneuver. Overall, it’s a keeper and I highly recommend it!👍🏽🤗 I just got it together & will spruce up this area later.😉 ... show more

Table arrived on time, and was well packaged. Surprises: Finish MATCHES that of the chairs chosen (slate-backed design), sturdy construction, well made, glass is thick and beveled, and there are gold leaf accents! Beautifully made and well worth the money!
