We have been looking for ages for chairs to go with a table we bought at a specialty store. We found lots in person at Ashley that were close so we checked online and spotted these. We couldn't find them locally to see in person and were worried about return shipping charges when bought from the store. On a whim I looked on Amazon and here they are! They were about $70 cheaper than in store and with Amazon's prime shipping, we didn't have any return risk. We bought one set of 2 to start to make sure we liked them. Shipped quickly, perfect condition, easy to assemble (only need to add legs). The back is a little shorter than some of the upholstered chairs we had seen in person. The top of the chair back will hit you across the bottom of your shoulder blades. I would have liked maybe another inch to make it more comfy to lean back. The fabric is knubbly not a word but it's how I would describe it) and to me it looks like white with sprinkled pepper black. This does attract my cat which is worrisome but so far she hasn't done damage. My biggest comfort issue with the chairs is the lumbar/lower back. They are not UN comfortable but the backs are curved and the fabric is pulled tight over that curve, so there is a gap at your lower back where the fabric doesn't touch the upholstery and there is a gap in structure. That gap leaves your lower back just barely unsupported and can make you a little uncomfortable after a while sitting unless you slouch. The foam padding is firm and comfy and everything about the look and construction is quality. The wood trim around the base of the seat is extra classy and gives an expensive look. although the wood is deeply ridged instead of smooth so I think that looks just a little bit fakey. I believe it is an aesthetic that matches with the table that matches these chairs but it doesn't go with our table. Another thing to note about these chairs is that the seat is nice and wide, which again makes them look classy and expensive. For me the width ended up a negative because they only just barely fit between our table legs so it gave no room for sliding in next to another person who was sitting already. We ended up buying 4 of these chairs (2 sets of 2) because we needed them quickly and Amazon was our best bet. We did go with other chairs than took longer to ship for our primary seating and will be using these for accent chairs and added seating when our table is extended for big gatherings. The main reasons were the seat width and the fact that the other chairs we tried had just a little better lumbar support. ... show more

I ordered 2 of these chairs to make sure I like them, I did, so I ordered 4 more. The chairs look great and are comfortable to sit I. Unfortunately, only 2 were delivered. I contacted Amazon and they have been great and will ship the remaining chairs to me One thing I noted about this shipment is how terrible the box and the chairs smell. The smell is like bad cabbage. The first 2 chairs didn’t smell at all, so I am hoping the replacement chairs won’t have the smell. Fingers crossed. ... show more

These chairs were bought to pair up with the Burkhaus dining table, and it was a perfect match. The chairs have a nice height, are comfortable, and look absolutely stunning. The installation process was really easy, about 15-20 minutes per chair.
