I really love these lamps; they’ve a perfect mate for my end tables however one of the shades has a dent. 1 on each side. At first I thought a bug had flown in but it was definitely dented. I’m not sure how to contact the seller/manufacturer for a replacement. I really don’t want to send the entire package with 2 lamps back since I essentially destroyed the styrofoam that they were packed in. That being said, I still love these lamps. These lamps look nice in our bedroom. One arrived partially broken near the base, but it’s such a pain to return things that we repaired with some glue and it worked well enough. The base is a black plastic that feels pretty cheap, but it looks nice so I suppose that doesn’t really matter. The shades arrived clean and in excellent condition. I really struggled for quite some time to get the power cord stuffed down into the lamp base so I could screw on the bulb socket. Maybe it is common sense for others, but the manufacturer didn’t provide detailed instructions. You must stuff a bit of the cord down into the top of the lamp and then pull a bit out of the bottom of the lamp a little at a time until you have enough of the cord inside to be able to screw on the socket. I wouldn’t repurchase, but they’re nice enough for what I paid for them. ... show more
