I was looking for a simple couch that didn't require assembly, under $500, would be carried into my 2nd floor apartment, was comfortable, and didn't look like it belonged to an ancient grandmother. I almost bought one of those cute mid-century modern knockoff couches due to its looks, but everyone told me they are poorly made and would break on me. I'm glad I went for a tried-and-true furniture brand, because this couch feels sturdy and is actually comfortable. I will say there are no holes for the legs, so you are going to need to drill them in yourself. And the legs themselves are really ugly plastic chunky beasts, but you can probably get cuter ones. Either way, I am not embarrassed by this couch, I can sleep on it just fine, I don't sink into it when I sit down, the arms are wide enough for me to precariously set my coffee on, and the price was definitely right. Just make sure that if you get the couch delivered inside of your doorway, the delivery people may not have a drill on them (mine didn't) so you'll need your own to get the legs in. ... show more

I have LOVE/HATE review. I love the sofa, color as described, well constructed, comfortable. Delivery was horrid. I live in a senior community on the ground floor. Delivery men said they would only go in one door, in fact that would have the sofa delivered in an area not even in the building, certainly not to my unit or even my hall. It was drop & dump. No time to examine the shipping carton for damage. After a difficult time removing the packaging a fork lift puncture left two holes in the side of the sofa. Customer service reduced the cost so I could get the couch repaired because a replacement was unavailable and I had no where to sit. Product and custormer service was acceptable-delivery was unacceptable. I now have a damaged sofa, needing repair, after a very unpleasant morning. ... show more

This was an awesome purchase, I'm so happy. We needed an extra bed the day this arrives. Be aware that the bed is kept together by 2 strings that you can only access by looking underneath the sofa! The sofa bed is not broken! The sofa bed is not hard to open at all- it's just the packaging. I love the firmness of the sofa, everyone is happy about it. The color is very expensive looking. Arrived with a broken arm. Not sure if it happened during delivery or was damaged before I purchased. I didn’t notice until after it was delivered and I set it up. How do you begin to “return” a large sofa? The wood under the fabric and padding was broken and eventually twisted itself sideways causing the entire arm to tilt and become unusable. Seat cushions will not stay in place. They slide out and are constantly having to be pushed back up under the back cushions. Last furniture purchase I will ever make from Amazon and this purchase has also made me leery of buying Ashley brand furniture. Total disappointment. ... show more

Beautiful and comfortable sofa. Delivery was kind of wonky, but as long as you are watching the delivery from being to end then you can really enjoy the sturdiness of your sofa without puncturing of holes and the frame being broken during the delivery process.
