  • Best Value Mattress I’ve Tried. Cool, , and Surprisingly Comfortable
Size: Queen Style: 12"
Right out of the box, I was impressed. It expanded fast, had barely any smell, and the cover felt super soft and well-made. Below are my thoughts broken down. I am very picky with my sleep, so if you are too, enjoy! • Firmness: Just right! firm enough to support, but soft enough to feel cozy. • Cooling: I’m usually a hot sleeper, but this stayed cool all night. • Motion: Barely felt my partner move at all. Big win. Great for back or side sleepers who want support without feeling like they’re sinking. I’m a side sleeper, my wife is a back sleeper. We both love it. I’ve had a nectar and Caspar in the past, both are 4x the price and not as good. The value here is insane! Edge support isn’t amazing but that is pretty standard with any memory foam mattress. Final Thoughts: Super comfy, cool, and affordable. I’d absolutely buy it again. ... show more

  • Spinal Cord Injury Pain Reliever
Size: Queen Style: 12"
I have a spinal cord injury and hadn’t had a pain free night of sleep in 10 years since my injury. I spent weeks researching the perfect mattress that would hopefully alleviate that. I’ve now been sleeping on this mattress for 8 months and it is AMAZING. I haven’t woken up with back pain one time! It is the perfect combination of soft and support. It does not seem to lose its even though it perfectly conforms to your body. I wake up every day grateful for buying this mattress because I can walk without pain because I was able to get a good night sleep. This feels like the most ridiculous thing to say, but this mattress literally was a lifesaver for me. Wouldn’t recommend anything else. If I could give it 10 stars I would. ... show more

  • Exceptional Value
Size: Full Style: 12"
Edit: It's been 4 years and we still LOVE these mattresses! Also had a friend stay over, go home and buy the same mattress for their house! *All attached photos were taken within 4 hours of unpacking* Only time will tell how this mattress holds up but I am very pleased thus far. I bought two 12" full size for my kids (this listing) and a king size 12" Elite for myself & spouse (separate listing) all on a Cyber Monday sale. These are our first memory foam mattresses and I completed an exhaustive amount of research for the better part of a year before settling on these. Upon delivery, these were well packaged. The mattresses each came in a clear bag which was shrinkwrapped around them. They were then rolled and covered in a durable milky-colored plastic and finally boxed in a clearly marked manufacturer's box. We brought the kid's beds in to sit at room temp for a day before unpacking. Each came with clear (albeit unneccessary) instructuons on how to set up. I would highly reccommend if you bought the bed in winter to let it get to room temp before unpacking. It speeds up the recovery proccess tremendously. The kid's beds were up in a matter of minutes with the corners lagging slightly. Ours, which sat in my car in the cold a few days, took longer. Regardless, none of the three took the full 48 hours which is referenced in the packaging. I read a lot about foam beds having an odor. I did not experience an odor with any of these in the slightest, even when first opening. You will want deep pocket sheets/pads/protectors. We have a variety of linens and regular sheets just do not cut it with these. Ashley did not cut any corners on standard bed size measurements and all of these fully fit the frame they are on, one is actually slightly too big. That coupled with the height, you need deep pocket sheets. The beds offer pressure relief but don't suck you in. I like a firm bed and I would classify these as firm. It's my hope that a firmer bed will last longer. The beds do respond to more weight/pressure but certainly aren't pillowy soft. I felt like I was able to change posotions easily. A parter's weight/movements can still be felt but not to the extent of an interspring. Choice of foundation will probably impact this as well. These do not sleep too hot for us. However, being children's beds, they are not loaded down with heavy blankets and comforters so I can't speak to how they might retain heat if that was the case. As I said, time will be the biggest test. Our previous $1,200 mattress lasted less than 4 years. Hell, for $150/bed this was worth the gamble. Comparatively, these only have to last 6 months to be equivalent in price longevity. TL/DR....Reasons for buying: Price, brand/company I have heard of, all foam construction with thick dense base. ... show more

  • Initial problems, but working out so far
Size: Queen Style: 12"
Edit: It's almost been 6 months since I got this mattress, and it's still going pretty well. Never did get to the full 12in, but it puffed up to at least 11.5in. No fiberglass issue so far, but I check every time I change my sheets just in case. It softened up after the initial first weeks, and has stayed consistently medium firm. I tend to sleep more on one side, so I may rotate sides in the future. Still happy with my purchase! Original: I'm on week 2 of sleeping on this mattress, and may update this review in the future. I had just purchased a new bed frame (my old one broke), and since my old spring mattress was almost as old as I am (I inherited it from my parents when they upgraded to king-size), I decided to try a foam mattress. Didn't realize this mattress had fiberglass in it until after it had arrived and I'd put it on my bed. My fault, I didn't read the reviews as carefully as I usually do. No leakage so far, but I'll keep an eye on it. It didn't fluff up to the full 12", even after 3 1/2 days (got to 10" the first day, and only gained a half inch more the second day, and nothing else after that). I was pretty miffed about those lost two inches, but didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning or exchanging. The instructions do say it takes longer to expand in the winter/cold weather, so I gave it more than 72 hours. It was a bit of a warm spell the week I got it (40+ Fahrenheit), and I'm in the smallest room of the house, and my room is also the warmest, so I had high hopes. I thought about waiting the full 4 days, but after so little progress on those last couple of inches, and tired of sleeping on my old mattress in the family room, I gave up and slept on it. First night sleep was not great -- it was super firm, too firm for me. But after a few days, the foam got softer, and my sleeps got better. I measured it again a week later, out of curiosity, and found it had puffed up to almost the full 12 inches. Still not quite there, and one corner is still somewhat crushed, but I'm still pretty happy with it. It's still pretty firm, but with just enough cush that it's comfortable. I've thought about adding a mattress topper, but I'm still getting great sleeps with it as it is, so I'm holding off on that for now. After that initial bad night's sleep, it's been smooth sailing. So, so far so good, and fingers crossed it will continue and I won't have a fiberglass problem. ... show more
