I recently purchased the Signature Design by Ashley Queen Size Chime 12 Inch Medium Firm Memory Foam Mattress with Green Tea & Charcoal Gel, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. This mattress has exceeded my expectations in several key areas. First and foremost, the comfort level is outstanding. The medium firm support strikes a perfect balance, offering just the right amount of firmness without sacrificing comfort. The memory foam conforms to my body, providing excellent support and relieving pressure points. This has significantly improved the quality of my sleep, and I wake up feeling refreshed and pain-free. Initially, I was concerned about purchasing a boxed mattress online without trying it in person at a store. However, this mattress is comparable to a plush firm mattress available at local mattress stores, and my concerns were quickly put to rest once I experienced the comfort firsthand. One of the standout features of this mattress is the infusion of green tea and charcoal gel. These elements not only help with odor control but also maintain a fresh and cool sleeping environment. I've noticed a marked difference in temperature regulation compared to my previous mattress, and it stays comfortably cool throughout the night. The quality of construction is also impressive. The mattress feels durable and well-made, with high-quality materials that are evident from the first touch. It arrived well-packaged and was easy to set up. After allowing it to expand fully, it reached its full 12-inch height and retained its shape beautifully. Additionally, I was pleased to find that the mattress didn't have any off-gassing smell while it was expanding. It's worth noting that the delivery of the mattress was handled by a third-party delivery company. While the delivery was smooth, the boxed mattress is quite heavy and cumbersome to move with just one person. I highly recommend having two people to move it around the house and help with the setup. This will make the process much easier and more manageable. During the expansion process, I observed that the mattress sections on the outside of the roll expanded within an hour, while the section in the middle of the roll took about two days to fully expand. Due to this, I placed the middle rolled section by the footboard to allow additional expansion over time while still being able to use the mattress after 48 hours. As someone who weighs over 300 pounds, I find this mattress to be very comfortable and supportive. It provides excellent stability and does not sag, ensuring a restful night's sleep. What's more, it's extremely comfortable during side sleeping, providing the perfect level of cushioning and support. Overall, the Signature Design by Ashley Chime 12 Inch Memory Foam Mattress is a fantastic investment for anyone looking for a comfortable, supportive, and high-quality mattress. This mattress is worth every dollar. Me and my wife were ready to pick up the Serta foam mattress from Sam's club for $500. We read reviews of this mattress and the amazon basics mattress. But were concerned with how the mattress felt. The Sam's club mattress we tested out, sat on, laid on and jumped on. This was the main reason why we were going with the Serta from Sam's. The morning we were supposed to go to Sam's club, I read a review of this mattress that sold me. The guy was around my size (5'11, 230lbs) and answered all my questions I had hahahaaaa. I told my wife, i'm ordering this mattress (Queen size 12") it's half the price of the Sam's club Serta and if we didnt like it we could still return it. I'm glad we saved $250 by going with this mattress because its amazing. My issues, Lower back problems, I'm a side sleeper, I'm always hot, our old coil mattress sucked and My wife could feel every move i made on my side of the bed. Mattress was delivered in a day, delivery guy brought it to my door and offered to bring it inside. But it wasnt that heavy. I carried it up stairs to our room, with out a problem. Slid it out the box, cut the first bag open, unrolled it on top of our box spring and then cut the last bag open... Instantly it started to rise, slid the bag out from under the mattress and let it do its thing. To be safe and from the reviews we read, we opened the windows and had the febreeze ready. No smell what so ever. after 2 hours it was at about 10" and after 4 hours it was a little over 12". we gave it another 2 hours just incase but it didn't rise any higher. We put the sheets on and made the bed, it was higher than our old mattress. First thing i did was sit on the edge and noticed it didnt collapse. that was a good thing. Then i laid down and instantly fell in love haha. The mattress is firm but not hard. I could get in and out of bed with out my wife feeling a thing. First nights sleep was great, no issues, no lower back pain and absolutely no sweating. If you have back pain and need the support and want a good nights sleep. This is a great mattress. i'm no memory foam expert or mattress know it all. Im a regular guy that likes to sleep. This is the second Elite Chime mattress I've purchased. The first has been used by my 6'2", 359lbs son for the last 4 years and is like new. When it was time to replace our mattress, my husband was leary going with a memory foam mattress after a bad experience with Temperpedic mattress in the past however the price was impossible to beat. We are both pleased with the comfort and support of this mattress! My husband's snoring has significantly decreased and I wake up with no lower back pain! Shipping was much quicker then expected (less then 3 days and we live in the middle of nowhere) There was no smell when we removed the plastic, there nearly no motion transfer, and it expanded to its advertised depth almost immediately (we slept on it after about 6 hours of expansion). ... show more
