Mega impressed with this lens designed to work specifically with Sony mirrorless cameras with built in IS. The glass is great with image clarity and sharp focus. The weight of this lens works well for me in my needs of shooting real estate and video. When I’m doing video I love the smooth subtle resistance of the zoom ring, allowing me to achieve fluid changes between focal lengths. At 14mm you notice slight distortion on the edges that are easily compensated for in Lightroom. I highly recommend dialing in this lens and setting a preset since a small amount of adjustment was needed after applying the Sigma 14-24 preset in lens calibration settings of Lr.     • Great Lens For Small Spaces
Great lens to make small rooms look big. Turns out my room is a little too big for what I wanted it for so I had to return it. But if you have a small space this lens is great. Very sharp great focus. Probably great for landscape as well.

for my full frame camera this is the first full frame lens i bought and boy let me tell you worth every penny i paid, super sharp and easy to use, its a nice chucky piece of glass definitely worth it

    • Good Super-Wide Zoom Lens
There are some distortions on 14 mm and you can see them in tight spaces ..like doors or narrow hallways. The zoom ring is very easy to operate, you can even change the focal while you are recording video very smooth. Autofocus is a bit too slow for my taste.. Of course the lens has not image stabilization, but who needs for such a wide lens... As a package... you will get few accessories more or less useful...I mean you wont feel like you made a wow deal... After I ordered this bundle I saw on Amazon another Very Well Known Store offering for the same price a real deal.... they put in a bundle a carbon fiber tripod OR the back Neutral Filters !!!! Too bad... I saw it too late... On another hand.. I received an open box returned pack... because the original tape with Altura Photo was unsealed and a clear tape put over.... Can't complain...everything inside looked OK and no sign of wear...But again... you can do a better deal if you are shopping around ! Good Luck ! ... show more

So far so good! Excellent image quality from the center to the corners. Some slight distortion and vignetting, but nothing the software can't take care of. The focus ring is extremely smooth as is the zoom ring, however I wish the zoom ring was a little easier to turn, but it's not really an issue. Extremely solid build quality. ... show more

This lens is great. Excellent image quality and 14mm is great for those wide angle shots. 24mm is useful when you don’t need to shoot as wide. The f/2.8 aperture lets in plenty of light, especially helpful in low-light situations.
