  • Great!
Style: 6 MOA Red Dot
Works perfectly and was exactly what I was looking for, seem to be a quality product from the testing so far! Was a great value and size of the window was perfect.

  • Why put the power button there lol
Style: 3 MOA Red Dot
Bought three of these optics to use on various HGs. As long as they're the right foot print they fit great. They come with a metal shroud to protect the optic but doesn't come with a cover. The glass is clear and dot is visible. The only thing I can say would be a hindrance is the button to turn it on is quite problematic and hard to reach. But im happy with my purchase ... show more

  • Poor Design Features
Style: 6 MOA Red Dot
This isn't my first Sig red dot and I'm very happy with my other ones. However this one is giving me pause. It's design seems kind of clunky and cheap where it matters. It comes with 2 sets of screws, not sure why since the instructions doesn't say. Only which ones to use and they seem slightly too long. They don't seem to seat well but I'm hesitant to over tighten them. The instructions say to tighten to 9 inch lbs, but who had that tool laying around except a gunsmith. The red dot itself is in a plastic housing that slips into a metal housing for better protection. I'm ok with that, my issue is with the battery. it's loose at the bottom of the plastic housing and relies on the metal housing to hold it in. Not good. Seems to work, but cheaply done. My next issue is a big one to me. The placement of the button that turns it on and also adjusts the brightness. It's inside the housing next to the glass making it impossible for a normal man fingers to reach. As much as I'm tried, I cannot get my finger in far enough to press the button. So how the hell can I turn it on???? Let alone adjust the brightness? I read one review where someone mentioned having to carry a flathead screwdriver to get in there. That's ridiculous! I didn't think that could be true. It is !!! The other issue I have is how you adjust it up or down. My other Sig red dots have a slot that will allow you to use a dime if you're in the field and don't have a screwdriver handy. This one requires a very small allen wrench that is supplied. It's so small and thin, I would be afraid to take it to the range for fear of losing it. Then you're SOL if you need to adjust the sight again. I really had high hopes for this based on my other Sig red dots, but this is in a class by itself. The junk class. If you can't turn it on, why even have it. The down side is I don't know of another Sig red dot that will fit my P365 Macro. However, if I find one by another brand, this one is coming off in a heartbeat. Heck, I may as well take it off now if I can't turn it on. I started out with this at 3 stars but the more I wrote, I couldn't leave it there. This is far from Sig's best work and they should be ashamed to sell this. I'd rather pay more and actually have a functioning red dot that I can turn on and adjust. I can't in all honestly recommend this. ... show more

  • SIG, makes good products
Style: 3 MOA Red Dot
SIG, makes good products. This red dot is small , light, clear, bright and works as intended for my CCW use and my range toy. It’s a good product I’d recommend it for the first time buyer on a budget who wants to see if they like or can actually use a red dot.

  • Nope. Look elsewhere.
Style: 3 MOA Red Dot
Edit: I'll leave the original review below, but this is a critical update that might help other idiots like myself: There's a small button on the inside of the shroud that resets the reticle, and adjusts the brightness. I mashed that little guy a couple times and we're back in business. Time will tell if this new battery (the old one was indeed dead) will last long enough to be trustworthy for a carry/nightstand weapon. I installed this on a p365, fired 39 shots, and left it in a vault for about a year. Took it out recently, no illumination- ok, battery must be dead, even though it hasn't moved this whole time and the auto-off feature would suggest total run-time is a couple hours, not the 20,000 Sig claims it'll last. Replaced the battery, nothing. No illumination, no obvious reasons for it not to be functioning. Contact terminals are clean, no sign of corrosion, rust, or other damage. I'm an unapologetic Sig fanboy but I could never recommend this optic for any redeeming qualities. ... show more
