We bought this as a way to keep our office door open during August and September to keep the room cooler while our son went to online school but also to keep our cats and dogs out. Anyone who has cats knows they love getting on keyboards while you work. We got this and it truly did the trick. We thought maybe it wouldn't hold up to our bigger dogs or to the cats trying to claw at it but the durability of this thing is pretty impressive. Our cats scaled it like Everest, our dogs pushed on it with noses and pawed at it, our cats clawed it, and it held. I'm not saying they're wasn't some damage. There was. Small punctures from cat nails but no runs, no scratches, no tears. The only thing we found is that it needs a better adhesive design or something for the doorframe. We ended up having to put multiple pushpins into our doorframe just to keep it up there and even then we had to push some pins back in every other day or so from the animals messing with it. I will say that the adhesive on the floor held up just fine. It does work. You may just have to get a little creative to keep it tacked up.

I'm using this to keep a feral kitten enclosed in a large closet instead of keeping her in a cage. The adhesive immediately started failing despite being placed on very clean walls that were even freshly painted a few months prior. I had some spare .75" head upholstery nail tacks (they are here on Amazon) which were perfect to secure the sides and top to the frame of the doorway. The tacks that came with the kit were entirely insufficient even for this fairly small kitten, so I'd advise anyone to keep that in mind if it's important the pet not escape (this one is sick and needs to be kept separate for a while). Otherwise, the screen door itself is fantastic and just what we needed to give the kitty more room.

We have had this up for around two weeks. I’m really impressed with how well made this is. We are in and out several times a day, zipping and unzipping and the tape has stayed stuck and zipper is easy. Absolutely no issues.

This product is easy to use and set up. It is not very durable. If your cat likes to climb and claw (as most do), this product may not work for you. It is hung up with thumbtacks and they started to come out of the wall after a week. It was already pulling out from walking in and out of it, but my cat was pushing it put of the wall the rest of the way. It is very easy to zip up and down and big enough for most people to walk through.

I put this screen up to block off the basement from the upstairs and keep my cats separate from my roommate’s cats. None of them have tried to claw through it, but I can feel how strong and durable the screen is. It’s thick. Since putting the screen up, my cats haven’t even tried to get upstairs. I tried putting 2 baby gates up before I bought the screen and my cat immediately tried to climb it and get upstairs. But this screen is different to him. He seems to know he can’t get through it. There’s only one thing I would change. I feel like the velcro isn’t strong enough and could come loose if the cats tried really hard. So I’d prefer it be stronger. But they haven’t even tried.

I have not that done many reviews up to this point. I Think that I will be more diligent to post the remarks for things that do go correctly, as opposed to the things that don’t. However, this is not the case today…I wish I had taken pictures, but I didn’t. It was great for about 2 1/2 weeks. I put it at my front door, because my apartment building does not allow screen doors on the bottom floor. At about week three zipper started splitting at some points. I’ll “studied up“ online and it said that I should probably lubricate it. That worked for a while, but not for long. I live in an apartment complex in the middle of cornfields. It was important to me to not only keep bugs and flies out of the top, but any mice, that might wonder in from the cornfield, from the bottom. This fit the bill, until The zipper started to split my dismay!..I waited too long put it in, so by the time I figured what was going on the time to return it was already passed. I’m almost hoping that it was a zipper defect? I’m tempted to order it again and try it, since I have no way of enjoying my outside during the summer unless something like this exists Buyer beware! ☹️
