  • Decent framework, needs a little DIY reinforcement
Size: Fits Door Size:38''x83''
I'm using this to keep a feral kitten enclosed in a large closet instead of keeping her in a cage. The adhesive immediately started failing despite being placed on very clean walls that were even freshly painted a few months prior. I had some spare .75" head upholstery nail tacks (they are here on Amazon) which were perfect to secure the sides and top to the frame of the doorway. The tacks that came with the kit were entirely insufficient even for this fairly small kitten, so I'd advise anyone to keep that in mind if it's important the pet not escape (this one is sick and needs to be kept separate for a while). Otherwise, the screen door itself is fantastic and just what we needed to give the kitty more room. ... show more

  • Keeps my cats from scratching the door
Size: Fits Door Size:38''x80''
We don’t let the cats sleep in our bedroom as one likes to attack our feet lol. He typically will paw relentlessly. We’ve tried several different things to keep him from scratching and this definitely works. Have no issues, haven’t had them chew or break

  • Helping to keep the Meouse safe from the Brat Cat
Size: Fits Door Size:38''x83''
A few months ago we took in a cat whose owner passed away. All but 1 of our other cats have done fairly well accepting her.. however ... the Brat cat.. he is determined to send Meouse packing. I purchased this to hopefully allow them to.. interact .. safely. It has helped a lot although I'm not sure how long before they'll be able to actually be in a room without a barrier. This screen has worked for us and held up really really well. I did decide to staple the sticky Velcro all the way around to the wall to keep them from pulling it down (our cats are very big cats). I then attached the screen and used the provided tacks to also secure it to the wall really well. It has held up to a 13lb cat climbing to the top to try to find a way through 🤣. They have tried clawing through it and have not succeeded. The zip door opening works easily and I like that there are two pulls so you can open however you want. I feel that this will EVENTUALLY help Meouse and Brat Cat to... cohabitate.. if not actually get along. I would recommend this to anyone, but just realize you might have to staple it down to ensure it stays put for the duration you need it to. ... show more

  • Liking it so far.
Size: Fits Door Size:32''x80''
We’ve had this up for a couple weeks, and it has gone surprisingly well with our four fully grown cats. We have been on the fence about purchasing one; we have a deck on the back of our house but no screen door there, and we rent so can’t install one. Wanted to be able to leave the door open for fresh air. So far this has worked out, but our cats have not tried to climb it or claw it, so I don’t know how it would hold up in that case. We don’t have a conventional door frame around the door, so had to improvise a little, but it worked okay (though the seal is imperfect). We used our own, regular nails instead of the tacks provided, for durability. So far we like it, we will update if anything changes. ... show more

  • Great concept
Size: Fits Door Size:40''x96''
Let's my new kitten and my dog be separate but still apart. The only complaint I have is the zipper split after like a week. Can only use the top zipper and go all the way down

  • The ONLY thing that has worked!
Size: Fits Door Size:48''x80''
I have a very clever cat and have tried EVERYTHING under the sun to keep her off the counters. Several years and many products/hacks later, this is the ONLY thing that does the trick. Bending over for the zipper each time is not as convenient as some of the other options but, it is certainly the only one that works. My doorway is taller than the product, which meant I was worried the cats might find a way jump over using the nearby couch or shelf but it's worked so far! (Of course, if they do figure it out, I could fill in the gap) Other things I have tried without success: tinfoil, motion sensor air sprays, that high pitched noise machine only cats can hear, squirt bottles, shouting, gentle reminders, keeping the counters clean, cat welcome places at counter height, a box on the counter, sticky pads, covering the sink with a cutting board and with Styrofoam (the Styrofoam worked for a few days), and a bunch of other things... Each time, she just jumped over, tapped it aside, tip-toed around, snuck past, waited until she thought I wouldn't notice or pulled some other Mission Impossible stunt. I'm so proud of her determination and smarts! ...but get this thing :) ... show more

  • Works great to introduce new cats
Size: Fits Door Size:30''x80''
Wasn’t sure how this would work out but it’s been working great to slowly introduce a new cat. The one small issue is that the zipper is sometimes sticky to open or close but it’s worked ok overall so far. Update: it’s been just over a month and the cat has figured out how to unzip the screen. I tried fixing that by putting the zippers on the bottom rather than higher to stop him from using gravity (?) to drag it down and open it to get out. But now he climbed to the top and broke through the adhesive. We also have another cat, that we put in the room while this cat was out so they could swap scents. The other cat was also able to escape from a lower side by pushing the screen adhesive strip away from the wall. At this point we may have to try a different screen, stronger adhesive or just close the door. It was decent while it lasted but that wasn’t for that long, for us. ... show more

  • Works as advertised
Size: Fits Door Size:32''x80''
I don't think the one and two stars are warranted. This is not made to be a bullet proof door. it is simply to discourage entry by cats or small dogs. I put it on a bedroom door so i could keep the door open for air movement yet keep my cats out. Anyone can see, for the price especially, that it would not be suitable for a strong deterrent or for big cats. My cats simply looked at it, sniffed a bit and walked away. that is what I expected it to do, and it did. it is reasonably strong and adheres well. Like with any zippered product that has such a long one, you have to be somewhat careful when zipping and unzipping. Overall, it works well and does the job. ... show more
