I have had a couple of these before, I even made a couple myself, and it seems the limit of their lifetime is how long they stay tight enough to hold a shell. Eventually they lose their springiness and don’t have enough grip anymore. This one seems like it may have that problem but so far it doesn’t. I also have not had any of these that didn’t eventually detach due to break down of the adhesive. This comes with 3M VHB adhesive, but like many many things that come from China. I do not believe this is genuine 3M VHB (very high bond) as it just does not feel the same. I guess only time will tell… I will update this review if anything changes.

Each sold individually and bagged individually. I like that considering it lowers the risk of damage. Test the adhesive with bird shot, buck, and slug. Holds all of them no problem. It's really hard to pass up this product considering it's functionality and price point. I strongly suggest grabbing a few. Fair warning do not put on 2A if your pump is long and goes far back (similar to Gforce 12 Gauge). It will obstruct its path.

I found this shell holder to be made of quality material. Durable but with a little flex. Easy to attach to my shotgun receiver. The 3M adhesive material keeps it firmly in place. It holds a single round tightly. An strategic spot for this is just in front of the ejection port. You can quickly push it into the receiver action, giving you one quickly-loaded last round, after you go empty. A very nice, affordable accessory.

Well, I'll put it this way. There's no way I'd drill an action or furniture to mount this shell keeper. It's just flimsy plastic and I expect it'll break with eventual use, getting caught on something. Granted, you don't have to install it with screws, works just fine with included double sided tape. And for what it's worth, it does securely hold a shell and allows for a very quick emergency reload. But, it's not something I'm planning to trust all that much. It gets three stars for working as designed, and loses two stars for being manufactured *barely* durable enough to be used for competitions. Certainly not durable enough for a defensive platform.

I just cleaned the mounting surface with isopropyl alcohol, and the holder hasn't budged during drills or practice with both live and dummy rounds. crucial for quick reloads. While I haven't needed to use the screw option yet, it's nice to know it's there for extra security if required. Overall, this holder is an excellent alternative to pricier options, offering durability and performance at a great value. If it continues to hold up after a few hundred rounds, it'll be a definite win in my book.
