UPDATE: seller reached out to me and wetook care of the issues. Great customer service and fast response time! Broken right out of the box. Everything that is needed to hold weight is brittle plastic. Clamp has to be forced open to remove rifle. Will not even hold up a spotting scope... If you are using it for a small camera it's nice. But DO not get this if you're using it for hunting, look somewhere else. Will be returning ... show more

I'm not sure what the " Community" thinks a shooting tripod is used for but a picture of the game harvested with it was not allowed as a post. The outdoor and hunting communities at large should be aware of this!

    • Flexible, Sturdy and multi-use tripod stand for small rifles; great for other equipment
I love the fact that it has capability to adjust angles and heights. As far as supporting heavier rifles or equipment, its not the best. If you have a .22LR rifle, it will be fine because there is very little recoil to handle. It will keep it steady when you tighten the grips. Its a good weight: light enough to move around with it and sturdy enough for lighter rifles (it won't be good for some 5.56 or 6.5mm rifles because the recoil will be too much for this to handle. The quick release feature is great if you need to mount different equipment already attached to a plate that fit the clamp so you can swap in and out quickly. Very flimsy. This is incredibly insufficient as a rifle tripod. It would be fine as a camera tripod maybe. Every component is cheap plastic. It feels more like a toy than a utility. Also, the bag they provide does not have enough room to hold all of the accessories it comes with, so you can't store it all together before you throw it in the trash. ... show more
