The instructions were clear, and the couch parts were listed on the outside of the box for each section left and the right side. and the otterman was in a separate box too. Three boxes that were delivered at the same time. The guide list was included with the instructions. I really like it for the storage space. A table in the center of the couch that is easy to let down or move back into position and replace the back cushion. I purchased the grey color. The value is well worth it. Color beware! The couch seems great, you can't beat the price, but I received the wrong color. I ordered grey and received dark grey, which is DARK, almost like charcoal. I'm giving this another try. Amazon is sending the lighter "grey" color and picking up the wrong color. Hopefully, they are sending the correct color this time. It's so hard to tell from the seller's photos—the grey and dark grey product photos are identical. However, by looking at photos from the reviews, the grey color appears to be definitely lighter. We will see what happens, and I will update my review after the new couch arrives. Fingers crossed. ... show more

For the price the Shintenchi Sectional Couch is a very good sofa with convertible ottoman. The comfort is what I'd expect. It has the depth I was looking for, and not as heavy as more expensive sofas can be. Had to purchase a few pillows for support to make it more comfortable as I ended up leaning too far back when sitting. The installation of coffee table and attaching the hooks in the end to finish it really needs two people. Design wise would have preferred no table as we don't use it. It also causes the part of cushion to jut out slightly but really not that noticeable. Storage is a plus. Nice grey color is very complimentary and versatile.     • Cheaply made and no instructions
Did not come with instructions to it together, the holes for the tray do not line up with the holes on the bracket, and the cushions did not inflate on there own. Amazon said to return it had to be taken apart and put back into original boxes which was not an option so we put the cushions in the dryer and had to get a special drill bit to extend the holes on the bracket. Don't know how long it will last Update: we have been using this couch 3 months and it is now unusable. The back is separated from the base and it is extremely uncomfortable to the point of being painful ... show more
