I live in Northern Minnesota, so this purchase is for my deck this upcoming spring. I'll update this review at that time. I purchased this specific item because the second paragraph in the product description page specifically states "No Assembly Required: The product what you received is the assembled product, you don’t need to spend extra time to install the chair". I am elderly and have disabilities, and I liked the idea of having delivery already assembled. Well, sure enough, the delivery was on time, but in two boxes that were suspiciously small. I opened the boxes and the chairs and table were un-assembled. I went to the Shintenchi Store link and left a message explaining my disappointment and noticing that their website in Amazon also states the set is Delivered Assembled and describing that as a plus feature reason to buy from them. In my message I asked if they had the product assembled as advertised, and they have not responded to me. I contacted Amazon and expressed my disappointment, and they said they would contact the supplier and get a corrected entry on the Amazon website. It's now three weeks later and so far, no change. So, I'm posting a provisional Review until such time as our weather improves and I go to the garage to assemble and place the items on our deck, then I will come back and update this review. I will say that my premiliary view of the merchandise is that the quality of the contents seems pretty good, the weight of the boxes would indicate the product is substantial, and the assembly instructions seem adequate. I will comment further and adjust my features evaluation after I spend the required hours putting this set together. Final Review: I have completed 4 hours of assembly of this bar set and have added one star to the review. I would have made it 5 stars only if they had shipped the set assembled as they advertised. The packing was very protective on individual pieces and although there was some tearing to the cardboard packaging there was no damage to the parts. I noticed some grumbling in other reviews about poor assembly instructions, but I think they were really well done. There isn't much narrative but the illustrations are clear when studied carefully. The framing parts all have identity stickers on them and the nuts and bolts come on cardboard enclosed in plastic with clear printed ID's. The small open ended wrench and hex key tools are not very adequate. I used my own tools, a closed end ratcheting wrench, a longer shank hex key and an electric screwdriver with an hex drive were helpful. I assembled this myself, but there were times when a second set of hands would have been appreciated. Each chair has two different arms and two different leg pieces that assemble in an "X" shape to form the base. When they say assemble the parts loosely they mean it. Do not tighten up the bolts until each chair is fully assembled so you can shift the parts slightly to get the holes in alignment. The same goes for the table, which is assembled upside down. The table top is very heavy, and it can be mistaken for black metal, but it is tempered glass. Make sure to have some protective cardboard box and Styrofoam packing underneath it. The Legs are first, and the top of each leg fits into a slotted fitting on the inside of the table rim. I suggest only putting in three legs, then make sure each fitting is slid sideways to be exactly in the center of each corner so the flanges for the leg braces face each other. Then fit in each ring shaped leg base with one (loosely threaded) screw in each of the three corners. Be careful not to drop the braces on the top until you get at least two corners secured. Once you have three legs and two braces loosely in place, add the fourth leg, tighten everything up, and you have a nice heavy table ready for service. Over all, I am well pleased with the quality of the set and feel it will give me good service for some time to come. I would recommend this set to other buyers.

I’m enjoying this set of table and chairs. The chairs were a bit tough to put together but it’s worth the effort. I work from home and it’s comfortable to sit and and work on this table/chairs.

Overall, we really like this set and have ordered 2 additional chairs. It's sturdy and very nice looking. The footrest on the table is perfect. The footrests on the chairs are too low and my feet don't touch. Husband says it's fine for him. There was a scratch on the table top, but I received a small credit back for that. The most important thing to note is that the table ships separately from the chairs yet you receive only one tracking number. I spent several hours with amazon trying to figure that out. The table arrived 10 days after the chairs. It was a pain.

I am ver impressed. Usuall these things are a pain to put togethe, don't fit right. This has to be a first easy to put together and the directions were accurate!!!! I was hesitant because I did see a review stating things didn't line up, my son and I did this and all I did was hold! The table is bigger than I expected, not disappointed and the chairs are comfortable!

EDIT: 4-8-24: If you'd like to spend your day running through every swear word you know & some you make up then this Patio set is for you!! No matter where I position the legs one of the frames won't seat correctly and the bolts won't go through. I'm of course one day past my return availability and am now stuck with this useless set. AVOID BUYING THIS 3-24-24: Finally received the parts for the table. And a complete extra set to put the chairs together, that I didn't need. 3-15-24: Had to reach out yet again to the company to see if parts had been sent. They have not and it's been a week since my initial email. I'm contemplating returning even though that would be a pain due to the bulkiness of the item. 3-9-24. Emailed the company and they are sending the missing hardware. Will update review once received. ORIGINAL REVIEW on 3-7-24 Along with the missing hardware there were no instructions on assembling the table either. Right now it's getting a one-star review due to that and misleading wording of chairs being "fully assembled." They're not and not easy to assemble either. I will update my review once I get a reply to the email I sent about missing hardware. Be careful assembling as the finish on the chairs is easily scratched. They are actually comfortable.
