These work really well, very easy to install. We use them for our 12 x 12 gazebo out on our deck and it keeps it toasty warm on cold nights. My only complaint and the reason for the 4 stars is that when you use the top two high settings a light comes on automatically. It's annoying when we're watching a movie out on the deck we can't have the heat on high without the lights on, which isn't a deal breaker but it would nice to be able to turn off the lights independently. Otherwise they wheel great ... show more

This heater was working great. I purchased this in October at the end of the month. As far as heating it does fine, however the pull string has broken. And now theres no way to turn it off or on, or change settings. There is also no way to contact your company for support.

After reading reviews and searching for what we needed we are really glad we picked these heaters. We are using them in our garage when we do woodworking projects and it keeps us nice and toasty. It heats up immediately, is quiet, and really does an overall good job.

i'd have to say a little disappointed in the effectiveness of two heaters placed in a 30' x 30' garage up top by the door opener on a cross beam as a photo would suggest, pointing down. i had them running 24-7 for weeks on high just to see if it would help the cold temperature inside and i did not notice the difference unless you were directly underneath and even then it was minimal at best. a fan to push the heat might be a suggestion. i'll probably relocate the pair to ground level in a corner maybe for lifting weights where the heat would be near my work location. if i noticed any difference i had planned on buying another pair but the problem is the huge spike in my electric bill so i've had them off ever since. ... show more

I hung these heaters up above my head pointing down at about 9 feet. No effect whatsoever. I let them on and came back out about two hours later. A one car garage wasn’t even close to warm. Nothing hot. I raised my hand up to feel the warmth and the such small amount of warmth that emitted was never going to be enough to heat up the garage to comfortable space. That with the fact that it takes 20amp for each one, it’s a costly investment for minimal heating effect. Unless you’re a foot away from it you are not going to feel anything in cold weather. UPDATE ; Company contacted me and apologize that I had ordered something that I didn’t need and gave me a full refund. I was really surprised by their decision to refund my entire amount can’t say much about the heaters, but I can say that this seller is somebody that I would do business with repeatedly. They are very responsive and certainly surprised me by giving me a full refund, I would say that you could buy anything from this person and be happy with the product and if not, they will make it right. ... show more

I installed these heaters in my Colorado workshop. We live at altitude so it gets colder than down in the plains. I don't like working in a cold shop because of the heightened risk of injury when using cutting tools. These heaters over about 30 or so minutes, raised the temp in my shop from below freezing to 50 degrees. I can work in the shop in a sweatshirt and be perfectly comfortable. Friends of ours installed a pair of these in their pottery workshop and she says she has never been more comfortable out there. Easy to install, extremely effective. If I had any complaint about them it would be that the pull switch is kind of cheap. You have to consciously make sure it is completely off or you could accidentally blow past the off setting and leave it on the lowest setting while you left the shop.
