I love this light. I use it on my desk where I work on my RC truck. I should of bought this sooner because I was using 2 other light sources and s still struggling to see what I'm doing and they created shadows that made it hard to see in small tight spaces. This lamp is really bright but I love the flexible neck so I can adjust the height, bring it forward or backwards, and change the pitch of the angle. Also the head of the lamp can rotate 90 degrees so between all the possible adjustments I can illuminate everything I'm working on with no shadows. I like the remote and I keep it tucked underneath the desk in between the top and the pull out tray. The brightness is adjustable in case you don't need super bright light for what you're doing. Just received this ShineTech LED Desk Lamp to light up the full keyboard of a digital piano I play. Terrific budget option for that kind of lighting. Very flexible, long gooseneck arm, very wide lights - 31 inches across, lots of brightness settings and color options, and it has a clever desktop control. Just about lights up the whole keyboard and music stand with very bright pleasing light. Its sturdy, no shaking or moving at all, and attractive. Use it at work. Plenty of light. Nice to be able to independently move both lights. The clamp is a little wonky but I didn't realize my work desk was much thicker than the clamp, so I improvised and attached to my monitor. But, not the lamp"s fault. I should have measured. All in all, I like it, been using for 6 months, t days a week, 6 hours a day probably. The different settings are nice, especially the warm setting. ... show more

Bright and completely adjustable This lamp is really good. The light has multiple temperature modes, multiple brightnesses, and the light bars fan to any angle. The clamp is strong and sturdy enough to clamp to just about any surface. The control panel is a little clumsy, but it’s a pretty good desk lamp. I purchased the ShineTech LED Desk Lamp specifically for studying, and I honestly didn’t expect it to be this bright. I was pleasantly surprised by how much light it produces — it easily illuminates my entire desk without any dark spots. One of my favorite things about this lamp is how adjustable and flexible it is. The double head design moves in multiple directions, so you can position the light exactly where you need it. Whether I’m reading, writing, or using my laptop, I can adjust the angle perfectly without any hassle. The clamp is strong and secure, which is a big plus. It holds firmly onto the desk and doesn’t feel loose or unstable at all. Even though it’s sturdy, the lamp itself is lightweight and practical, which I really appreciate. It’s a sleek, cool, and modern looking lamp that provides a nice, large swath of light for my nice, large desk. The flexible gooseneck is very easy to maneuver as desired, but also strong enough to stay put when that “just right” position is achieved and I found it to be quite easy to angle it so that I get the maximum amount of light where I want it without it shining in my eyes. The mounting clamp is plenty strong and I have no concerns for the lamp falling over, but my lone gripe is that the knob is a tad too large and it was slightly hitting the back of my desk and not allowing me to install with the back portion of the clamp bracket fully against the edge of the desktop, which left a teeny tiny gap. It’s not a huge deal, but it’s slightly annoying to have movement when I’m trying to hold the lamp in a specific position as I tighten the knob. I very much prefer the wired remote over a wireless one so I don’t have to deal with battery changes or disappearances and the cord was long enough to run under my desk so I could attach the remote to my keyboard tray for a nice, clean stealth install. There are enough color temp and brightness options to satisfy anyone and everyone I think, but, for me, I find the temp and brightness I like and just leave it. I guess a second gripe would be that the face of the remote is perfectly smooth with no tactile feel to the buttons, so you need to be looking at it to press the correct area for the desired function. Since I only care about the on/off “button”, I attached an adhesive silicone bumper dot on it so I can operate it by touch. The specific timers of 10 and 45 minutes are kind of odd and about as useful as a screen door on a submarine, but I guess they wanted to add some extra features to the remote. ... show more

Here is the irony. I purchased this for my workbench where I rebuild watches. e.g. my superpower is working with very small things. I have never witnessed the advanced level of engineering incompetence that is demonstrated with this product. If I were not a victim, it would even be impressed with the level of stupidity that can be achieved. SPOILER ALERT! You will NOT get this assembled. You are instructed to snap the base into the light. The two pieces are connected by a 1.5 inch wire. The base has a "U" snap connector and a wire above it. (see image). The light has a space (gap) 1/2 inch deep that contains the "peg" that the "U" snaps into. (see image) The other end of the wire is then attached immediately above the "peg". This is where Scotch gets involved. The wire is hard connected in both the base and light so the excess wire will not retract. The instructions say to PULL the wire tight so that it lays in the semicircle space for the wire while simultaneously PUSHING the connections together blindly (you can't see or move wire once the two connectors are presented together. So the drug induced ShineTech hallucination is that I will pull and push 1.5" of wire into a cavity I can't see without the wire getting in the way of the snap connection. SPOILER ALERT. No matter how much Scotch and swearing is involved. YOU. WILL. NOT. GET. THIS. ASSEMBLED. It literally defines impossible. Don't take my word. Look at the images. I used my Horology Microscope to take actual pictures of this stupidity. oh.. PS. The lamp is .0003 lumina. Just grab a couple fire-flies, put them in a jar and sit them on your desk. ... show more
