I love this desk lamp. I moved into an office with no windows and high ceilings with florescent lights. There are dark sports where I set up my desk and this lamp works perfectly to illuminate my desk space. I love that I can change the hue of the light to ease my eye strain. It was easy to set up and the clamp that affixes to my desk is easy to use. I love the touch controls--I have them set on the desk to easily turn them on or off. Just received this ShineTech LED Desk Lamp to light up the full keyboard of a digital piano I play. Terrific budget option for that kind of lighting. Very flexible, long gooseneck arm, very wide lights - 31 inches across, lots of brightness settings and color options, and it has a clever desktop control. Just about lights up the whole keyboard and music stand with very bright pleasing light. Its sturdy, no shaking or moving at all, and attractive. I love this light. I use it on my desk where I work on my RC truck. I should of bought this sooner because I was using 2 other light sources and s still struggling to see what I'm doing and they created shadows that made it hard to see in small tight spaces. This lamp is really bright but I love the flexible neck so I can adjust the height, bring it forward or backwards, and change the pitch of the angle. Also the head of the lamp can rotate 90 degrees so between all the possible adjustments I can illuminate everything I'm working on with no shadows. I like the remote and I keep it tucked underneath the desk in between the top and the pull out tray. The brightness is adjustable in case you don't need super bright light for what you're doing. Great for hobbies or if you just need a desk light to see better. ... show more

Overall a great light for what I bought it for. Only problem was the instructions tell you "while inserting lamp head into lamp, the wire must be pulled outwards from the bottom." Well when I did that the entire deal snapped breaking all the wires. Replacement was sent out immediately and this time eveything went smooth. Love the color levels and warmth hues offered with this light plus the adjustability of the light heads themselves. Great overall product for the pricepoint. ... show more

It’s a sleek, cool, and modern looking lamp that provides a nice, large swath of light for my nice, large desk. The flexible gooseneck is very easy to maneuver as desired, but also strong enough to stay put when that “just right” position is achieved and I found it to be quite easy to angle it so that I get the maximum amount of light where I want it without it shining in my eyes. The mounting clamp is plenty strong and I have no concerns for the lamp falling over, but my lone gripe is that the knob is a tad too large and it was slightly hitting the back of my desk and not allowing me to install with the back portion of the clamp bracket fully against the edge of the desktop, which left a teeny tiny gap. It’s not a huge deal, but it’s slightly annoying to have movement when I’m trying to hold the lamp in a specific position as I tighten the knob. I very much prefer the wired remote over a wireless one so I don’t have to deal with battery changes or disappearances and the cord was long enough to run under my desk so I could attach the remote to my keyboard tray for a nice, clean stealth install. There are enough color temp and brightness options to satisfy anyone and everyone I think, but, for me, I find the temp and brightness I like and just leave it. I guess a second gripe would be that the face of the remote is perfectly smooth with no tactile feel to the buttons, so you need to be looking at it to press the correct area for the desired function. Since I only care about the on/off “button”, I attached an adhesive silicone bumper dot on it so I can operate it by touch. The specific timers of 10 and 45 minutes are kind of odd and about as useful as a screen door on a submarine, but I guess they wanted to add some extra features to the remote. ... show more

It's a little cheaper made than it looks in the pictures (plastic construction on the LEDs), but it seems to be a good quality product. The arm is sturdy, and that's the most important part. The desk clamp works fine. The LEDs have variable brightness and color temperature. The wired controlled isn't ideal (membrane buttons instead of something more tactile) but overall great product for $30. ... show more
