So far so good! I've been using this unit for more than 2 weeks so far and it has worked exceptionally well. I'm here to order another one so that this one doesn't get over worked in this South Georgia heat. As stated in reviews it is a bit louder than traditional window units but I'm fine with it, I'd rather have a louder sound and not the tacky look of a large unit in my window. The fit is snug and the air blows and cools well. I'm ecstatic that it's prime day and I'll save $35 this time‼️🙌🏾🙏🏾

We’ve had this since May due to us losing our central air conditioning. I live in Florida and you NEED ac when summer rolls around. It worked very well for cooling down our bedroom. The setup was easy with the work of 3 people. It’s not that noisy honestly. Unfortunately it is now August and it’s stopped blowing cold air and we’ve done everything we can to revive it. It was great while it lasted.

This is only an initial review after having it for 2 days but so far it is working very well. The only difficulty being the window vent apparatus. It was a bit too long and had to be cut off in order for it to fit my window. I appreciate ttheunit's low profile and cold air. So far so good

Maybe defective unit ?

I’m not sure if mine was defective or not. I have only had this unit for a little over a week now and it blows hot air. We don’t run it for very long maybe an hour at a time so I don’t believe it is from over use. It runs cold for maybe 30 minutes and then makes a this thud sound and goes hot. I let it cool off too see if that helps resolve the issue but it doesn’t seem to help. I have also reset the power multiple times before use. I would not buy again but I would love a replacement if possible.

Fan is NOT separate from cooling, and unit stops and re-starts quickly.

Only had the unit for 2 weeks, but so far it has been good. Only item that keeps if from 5 stars is the fact that the fan operation is NOT separate from the cooling (fan and cooling start and stop together). Additionally, unit stops and starts frequently at times, within seconds to a minute in some cases. So, if like me, you purchase as a bedroom unit, the frequent starts may disrupt your sleep.

Cools well, but the noise is disturbing.

The price is right. The noise is not. I bought 2. They cool well. But the constant, random, loud noises make it VERY difficult to carry-on a conversation or watch TV. They sound like the old wall a/c s from cheap 1970s motel rooms on Route 66. Also, it's odd that the fan abruptly stops when the temp is reached; normally, the fan should stay on to dry the coils, and keep air flowing thru the room.
