I purchase the 16 Narrow (16NA) to go with my PE 2-4 slow pitch jigging Rod. If you are trying to decide between this reel and an Ocea Jigger the specs are the same only difference is the Ocea has an auto-engage when you turn the reel when on free- spool. Is it worth the $60+?? Not to me. The retrieve is amazing at like 46 inches, has great drag power and Suuper light and Shimano smooth! I have 2 Shimano speedmasters a 12 and 16 and the smallest one is 6 oz heavier. I was worried about the white handle and it getting super dirty but all it took was a rinse off after a day of fishing. Really considering getting the 30 for a 60lb setup and I lean a little more towards lever drag systems. Well worth the money. ... show more

I use this reel for jigging, it is excellent. With the narrow spool you rarely have to worry about spooling too unevenly when retrieving. It is also very comfortable because of its size. With 25 lbs of drag there is very little you can't pull in. Fishing in 250 ft depths isn't too big of an issue. I recommend pairing this with a Shimano teramar 20 - 50 rod. Line capacity is great. This reel is an awesome reel for jig casting and performs flawlessly. I used the reel on my last outing and caught several 30lb Dorado casting jigs with it. I was very impressed with the smoothness of the drag.
