I used this mattress protector on an 11-inch high foam queen mattress. These days, my mattress is on the short side, with many mattresses over 15 inches. So, I realize that companies have to make products that fit a wide range of mattress heights. This mattress cover fits my mattress, and it appears to have enough elasticity to adjust to higher mattresses. To test the cover, I spilled a little water on it. The water soaked a little into the top layer, but it didn't soak through the cover. I have to admit that when I first ordered the cover, I was very confused by the range of item options. There were a LOT of choices, but the discriptions seemed all the same. I left it to chance that I would get the appropriate item. Before I wrote my review, I returned to the item description. I didn't see all the confusing choices as I did before, so maybe the company fixed the issue. If I had still seen the multiple repetitive item choices and descriptions, I would have reduced my review by one star.

Purchased this for a cushion for our sofa bed which gets used just about every week. I have some issues sleeping in my bed sometimes and end up making the sofa up for the night. the bars in the sofa hit in the wrong areas sometimes and I wake up sore. This fluffy topper has removed that issue. It's like sleeping on a cloud of comfort now. I now prefer sleeping on the sofa bed more than our $3000 mattress on our bed. It folds up well for easy storage between uses and cleans well in a cold-water wash.

I got this mattress cover to protect our memory foam mattress. Honestly, it's pretty much a necessity and I wish I had found something like this sooner. It's very lightweight and has a nice pleated surface. I really like how deep the pocket is. It fits our very thick mattress perfectly. The description said waterproof and that's what I had been looking for. Just don't confuse waterproof with "won't get wet". The waterproof membrane underneath the cover is laminated to a fabric covering that can get wet just like any other fabric. I poured a puddle of water on this mattress cover and it really did keep the water from going through to the mattress, but the fabric on the cover got wet and I had to dry it off. I don't consider this a downside in terms of the performance of the cover, it's just something to keep in mind. It really looks great and performs as advertised.

This review is for the mattress protector only, which is all we received...not the topper. For a mattress protector, this is quite nice. Sure, we've all had those crinkly ones that rustle when you flop in the night. Or the ones that are hot because they don't breathe. This is neither of those. It is actually soft with a bit of padding and does not get hot. It was easy to put on because the pockets were deep--I have a 12" matress with a 3" down topper and it fit over both with no trouble at all.

I washed this mattress protector when I first got it and it went through the washer and dryer with no problems. It fit over my 10" queen gel-foam mattress very nicely. The top looks to be small square quilted and is soft to the touch. it was quite comfortable when I laid on it and had a very good nights sleep from the very first night. My dog is also very happy with it. I haven't gone so far as to dump a glass of water on it to test it for being waterproof but I would certainly recommend it with what I do know about it.
